Mega-entertainer Amitabh Bachchan’s decision to suspend his weekly Sunday meet-and-greet rituals with his fans at his residence Jalsa has been suspended on doctor’s orders. According to sources close to the family, it was not the Big B’s decision to stop meeting his fans, a ritual he has been observing religiously for 15 years.
“It was the doctors’ orders that he must stop interacting with crowds during these times of a viral outbreak. You know Amitji. If he had his way he would never disappoint his fans. He knows his admirers come every Sunday to his home from faraway places outside Mumbai to get a glimpse of him. Given a chance he would have continued with the rituals,” says a close family friend of the Bachchans. But then there is the Big B’s frail health.
Says the source, “Amitji’s immunity system is down to the bare minimum. He is more prone to catch any virus than you or me. The doctors have strictly forbidden him from stepping out.”
In lieu of this beloved weekly ritual, Mr. Bachchan will probably be putting out videos on Sunday for his fans until the virus threat subsides.
In the meanwhile, the long and final schedule of Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra where Amitabh Bachchan shares screen space with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Nagarjuna has been postponed.

Shahid Kapoor returned to Mumbai from Chandigarh this past weekend after his shoot for Jersey remake came to a halt. The actor tweeted, "At a time like this it is our social responsibility to do everything in our capacity to curb the spread of this virus. Team #Jersey is suspending shoot so as to enable all unit members to be with their families and in the safety of their homes. Be responsible. Stay safe.❤️."
State Government, on March 13, issued orders to temporarily close down all educational institutions (including private tuitions) in urban areas, malls (all establishments within it, except for groceries and essentials), swimming pools, gyms, theatres to ensure the safety of people. But, it seems like the case is different for Shahid Kapoor. The actor and his wife Mira Rajput were seen at a suburban gym on Sunday despite the temporary ban on all the gyms in the state.
As per reports, on March 15, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput arrived at AntiGravity gym which was exclusively opened for the two of them in the evening, while it remained shut the entire day. The actor arrived at 5:30 pm and the couple did a two-hour workout session. The actor was reportedly seen working out at the VIP section whereas Mira did her workout session in the general area. Amid the session, she would walk to his section to talk to him. The two of them left from different exit after they noticed paparazzi.
But the club owner Yudhishthir Jaising had a different tale to tell. He said the actor wasn't at the gym to workout. He said that the actor was in Chandigarh for his Jersey shoot and wanted equipment after he sustained an injury a couple of months ago. He said that he was showing the actor how to use the equipment. The owner further said that they are friends and often train at each other's houses.
Jaising further said that the gym has been shut completely since Friday and that no members visited the gym after they were notified about the orders issued by the government. He insisted that Shahid, Mira and he were just hanging out...as friends.

The Coronavirus pandemic has spread around the world rapidly. Several institutions in the country have been shut down, workplaces have decided for work from home opportunities for the employees, theatres are being shut down for time being, shootings are being cancelled. On Sunday, Indian Motion Pictures Producers' Association, Federation of Western India Cine Employees and Indian Film&Television Directors' Association came to a decision to put a halt on the shootings with the effect from March 16 till March 31, 2020.
Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha's next schedule has been put on hold for now. The actor completed his shoot on Sunday, March 15. Since the actor has been shooting the film in real locations, it requires him to follow the same protocol for the next schedule too. The next schedule date will be decided on a later date observing the scenario. The film, which stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, is scheduled for Christmas 2020 release.
The shooting for Nikamma starring Abhimanyu Dassani, Shilpa Shetty and debutante Shirley Setia has come to a halt too. The shooting was pre-emptively called off on Saturday ahead of the decision made by several bodies. The 10-day schedule required few scenes to be shot along with the title track of the film. A huge set was erected at Madh Island where the trio was supposed to shoot the title track before Sabbir Khan sent out the message on Saturday that the shoot was called off. The film is almost complete as per the director. Keeping the safety of the actors, cast, and crew, the decision was made. They'll resume shooting once the situation is better. While the film is insured even if there's a monetary loss, Sabbir Khan said that it's his job as director and part producer with Sony Pictures to take the responsibility. The film is scheduled for June 5 release.

Aman Gill, the producer of the film, said that the remake is already 70 percent complete. They were in Chandigarh to shoot and were looking at April end wrap up. Keeping the current scenario in mind and how the Coronavirus has spread across the globe, the decision was made to keep everyone safe. The makers will begin work as soon as the situation normalizes. Jersey is set for August 28, 2021.

एलन ने शनिवार को ट्वीट कर शो के प्रोडक्शन रुकने की जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि प्रोडक्शन को 30 मार्च तक के लिए पूरी तरह रोक दिया गया है। हम सभी को स्वस्थ्य रखने के लिए पूरी तरह से एहतियात बरत रहे हैं। होस्ट ने लिखा कि, मैं बोर हो रही हूं और वापसी का इंतजार नहीं कर सकती।

हॉलीवुड डेस्क. एक्ट्रेस एंजलीना जॉली कोरोनावायरस को लेकर खासी चिंतित नजर आ रही हैं। हाल ही में एंजलीना अपनी बेटी विवियन के साथ शॉपिंग करती हुई नजर आईं। अंग्रेजी वेबसाइट हॉलीवुड लाइफ के मुताबिक एंजलीना कोरोना को लेकर शटडाउन से पहले जरूरी तैयारियां कर रहीं हैं।
एंजलीना को विवियन के साथ लॉस एंजेलिस में ग्रॉसरी शॉप लेजन्स नेचुरल फूड्स और विटामिन पर स्पॉट किया गया। इस दौरान मां-बेटी के हाथ में ग्रॉसरी से भरे दो भारी थैले नजर आए। विवियन, एंजलीना और एक्टर ब्रैड पिट की बेटी हैं। दोनों 2016 में अलग हो गए थे।
कोरिया में पढ़ता है बेटा मैडॉक्स
एक्ट्रेस का सबसे बड़ा बेटा मैडॉक्स दक्षिण कोरिया की एक यूनिवर्सिटी में पढ़ाई कर रहा है। बैंकॉक पोस्ट के मुताबिक साउथ कोरिया में रविवार तक 8162 लोग संक्रमित पाए गए हैं। वहीं, इस वायरस के चलते करीब 75 लोगों की मौत हो गई है।

बॉलीवुड डेस्क. मुंबई में हर रविवार अमिताभ बच्चन के घर के बाहर होने वाली संडे मीट रद्द कर दी गई है। इस बात की जानकारी अमिताभ ने ट्विटर पर शेयर की है। उन्होंने लिखा है-संडे का दर्शन जलसा पे कैंसल है कृपया कोई वहां जमा ना हों। यह कदम उन्होंने अपने फैन्स को कोरोना वायरस के संक्रमण से रोकने के लिए उठाया है।
अमिताभ ने इस ट्वीट में फैन्स से अपील की है - सभी शुभचिंतकों से प्रार्थना है कि वे आज शाम को जलसा गेट पर न आएं। संडे मीट के लिए मैं नहीं आ रहा हूं। सावधानी अपनाएं। सुरक्षित रहें। संडे का दर्शन जलसा पे कैंसिल है, कृपया कोई वहां जमा न हों आज शाम को। सुरक्षित रहें।
37 साल से चल रहा सिलसिला : अमिताभ हर संडे होने वाली फैन्स मीट की तस्वीरें अपने ब्लॉग और सोशल मीडिया पर शेयर करते रहते हैं। खुद अमिताभ ने बताया था कि यह सिलसिला 1982 से शुरू हुआ है, जो बिना किसी रुकावट के लगातार चल रहा है। लेकिन इस सिलसिले को कोरोना के डर ने तोड़ दिया। बिग बी सोशल मीडिया पर पिछले कई दिन से लगातार कोरोना वायरस के संक्रमण को रोकने के लिए जागरुकता फैला रहे हैं।
महाराष्ट्र में कोरोना वायरस की मौजूदा स्थिति : गौरतलब है कि अब तकमहाराष्ट्र में कुल 31 लोगकोरोना सेसंक्रमित पाए गएहैं। राज्य सरकार के मुताबिक पुणे और आसपास के क्षेत्र में 15, मुंबई में 8, नागपुर में 4, यवतमाल में 2, ठाणे और अहमदनगर में 1-1 मामलों की पुष्टि हुई है।
