Rajkumar Santoshi's Aamir Khan-produced Lahore 1947, starring Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta, is now Batwara 1947 due to India-Pak frictions. Based on a Partition play about Mai in Lahore, rights passed from Govind Nihalani to Santoshi. Eyes Independence Day release.
