Taapsee Pannu starrer ‘Thappad’ hit the screens last week and opened to positive reviews. However the same cannot be said about its box office collection. According to the latest report on Boxofficeindia.com, the film registered a massive growth of 85% growth on its second Saturday and raked in around Rs 1.65 crore nett. With this ‘Thappad’ stands at a total collection of Rs 23.50 crore nett in nine days. The second Friday recorded massive drop of 67%, decreasing the film’s chances to ensure a good final figure at the box office. Had this decrease been of 50% then maybe ‘Thappad’ could have raked in Rs 35 crore nett.
