South Korean film Parasite has been the most talked-about film this award season. The critically acclaimed movie, written and directed by Bong Joon-ho, won the Golden Globe 2020 Award in Best Foreign Film category. Now, it seems like the film is being adapted in to a Television series at HBO.
According to the reports, Bong Joon-ho and Big Short director Adam McKay are in talks to adapt this year's finest film Parasite into an HBO limited series. The talks are underway at HBO but the deals are not yet done. It will be adapted for a limited series in English.
Bong Joon-ho and Adam Mckay will executive produce as well along with Kate Street Picture Company’s Dooho Choi and CJ Entertainment’s Miky Lee, Cho Young Ki and Francis Chung. McKay’s partner at Hyperobject Industries Kevin Messick will also exec produce. CJ’s Jerry Ko will be co-executive produce and CJ’s Fred Lee will act as producer.
At the Golden Globes 2020, Bong Joon-ho instantly went viral on social media. “Once you overcome the one-inch tall barrier of subtitles, you will be introduced to so many more amazing films. Just being nominated along with fellow amazing international filmmakers was a huge honour,” he said in his speech. Ending his speech in English, Bong Joon Ho said, “I think we use only just one language: the cinema.”
Parasite is about the Park Family - the picture of aspirational wealth and the Kim Family, rich in street smarts but not much else. Be it chance or fate, these two houses are brought together and the Kims sense a golden opportunity. Masterminded by college-aged Ki-woo, the Kim children expediently install themselves as tutor and art therapist, to the Parks. Soon, a symbiotic relationship forms between the two families. The Kims provide “indispensable” luxury services while the Parks obliviously bankroll their entire household. When a parasitic interloper threatens the Kims’ newfound comfort, a savage, underhanded battle for dominance breaks out, threatening to destroy the fragile ecosystem between the Kims and the Parks.

बॉलीवुड डेस्क. फिल्म डायरेक्टर और आदित्य के दोस्त मोहित सूरी ने भास्कर से आदित्य के ट्रांसफॉर्मेशन की कहानी बयां की। उन्होंने बताया कि 'आदित्य को मेरा साफ कहना था। लोग उन्हें बदले हुए नजरिए से तब देखेंगे, जब वे खुद बदले हुए नजर आएंगे। मलंग में आदित्य लीन और भारी भरकम दोनों ही लुक में नजर आएंगे। फिल्म में कुछ ऐसे फाइट और कॉम्बेट सीक्वेंस भी हैं जो उन्होंने पहली बार किए।
घर पर भी जारी रखी ट्रेनिंग
दुबले-पतले नजर आने वाले आदित्य ने इस फिल्म के लिए जी-तोड़ मेहनत की और बीफ्ड लुक पाया। यह सब हो पाया है उनके ट्रेनर सुदर्शन डी अम्कर की मदद से। आदित्य की तैयारी के बारे में सुदर्शन बताते हैं, 'आदित्य और मेरे बीच उनके लुक के बारे में काफी वक्त तक चर्चा हुई। उन्होंने बताया कि वो फिल्म में अपनी भूमिका के साथ न्याय करने के लिए फाइटिंग स्किल और फ्लैक्सिबिलिटी पर काम करने के लिए मार्शल आर्ट सीखना चाहते हैं। इसके बाद हमने उन्हें बेहद स्ट्रिक्ट ट्रेनिंग दी। हम रोज जिम में 2-3 घंटे बिताते थे।
शाम को मैं उन्हें सुझाव देता था कि आधे घंटे का कार्डियो करें। इतना ही नहीं मैंने उनसे ट्रेडमिल भी खरीदवाया ताकि वो घर पर भी कार्डियो कर सकें। वार्मअप करने के लिए हम योगा करते थे। इसके अलावा लचीलेपन को बढ़ाने के लिए उन्होंने कलरीपायट्टू और कई तरह के मार्शल आर्ट्स की ट्रेनिंग भी ली। स्टेमिना बढ़ाने के लिए वे हर रोज ट्रेनिंग सेशन के बाद 20 मिनट तक दौड़ते थे।'
जंक फूड और पानी से भी रहे दूर
आदित्य ने अपनी डाइट में भी काफी बदलाव किए। वे रोजाना 1200 कैलोरी लेते थे ताकि वर्कआउट के साथ उनकी एनर्जी मैच हो सके। इतनी कैलोरी लेने के साथ ही वे एक दिन में पांच बार खाना खाते थे। इस खाने में वे शुगर, ग्लूटन और जंक फूड से पूरी तरह से दूर थे। उन्हें अत्यधिक मात्रा में नमक और पानी पीने की अनुमति भी नहीं थी।
मोहित सूरी ने बताया कि वेट लूज करने के लिए जहां वे 1200 कैलरी से भी कम खाना खाते थे, वहीं वेट गेन करने वाले फेज में प्रोटीन की हाई डाइट पर रहे। सेट पर बाकी फिटनेस फ्रीक लोग भी थे। अनिल कपूर ने भी आदि को फिटनेस और एक्शन के टिप्स दिए। खासतौर पर उन्होंने बताया कि कैसे टॉम क्रूज एक्शन वाले सीन को प्रिपेयर करते थे? उन्होंने बताया कि टॉम क्रूज एसी कमरे के बजाय सेट के रूम टेंम्परेचर के माहौल में एक्शन की प्रैक्टिस करते थे। वह भी सेम कॉस्ट्यूम में, जिसमें सेट पर बाद में शूट होना है। वरना आमतौर पर एक्टर्स एसी रूम में कैजुअल कपड़ों में रिहर्सल करते रहते हैं। आदि ने फिर टॉम क्रूज वाला तरीका अपनाया। इससे गोवा की तपती धूप में उन्हें एक्शन करने में आसानी हुई।
उन्होंने बताया कि इस पूरे मेकओवर के लिए आदित्य को टोटल आठ महीनों का वक्त दिया गया था। अनिल से भी हम लोगों ने फिल्म में दिमागी एक्शन करवाया है। इसके अलावा फिल्म में दिशा पाटनी की फिटनेस भी देख हम सब हैरान रहते थे। लेटनाइट शूट होने के बावजूद अगली सुबह वह जिम में ही पाई जाती थीं। वहां भी सिर्फ कार्डियो नहीं, बल्कि वेट लिफ्टिंग जैसे भारी भारीकम एक्सरसाइज करती थीं। उन्हें देख सेट पर मौजूद बाकी क्रू मेंबर्स का उत्साह सातवें आसमान पर पहुंच जाता था।

Saif Ali Khan backs Ali Abbas Zafar who allegedly kept the writer of Tandav off set January 09, 2020 at 05:38PM
It was recently reported that filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar who is venturing into the web world with political drama Tandav starring Saif Ali Khan reportedly kept writer Gaurav Solanki off set. When Saif was asked about the incident, he backed the director stating that it's not a writer's place to be on set and direct.
Saif Ali Khan said that it is the director's call to make on what they do with the source material - whether he decides to completely scrap it or burn it. He added that the director can respect or disrespect it as per the story he wants to tell. He said that Ali has made most of the material.
But, Saif also ensured to say that writers should be treated with respect and dignity. He said that they deserve more praise, money, and love since they create everything. He said that good writers like Gaurav Solanki are a gem. He asserted that neither he or Gaurav can tell a director what to do since the director is the boss on set. He said that if Ali says to walk into the room backwards, one has to do it. He said that unless Gaurav thinks the material has been tampered with, this shouldn't be a conversation.
Speaking about Tandav, Saif Ali Khan said that shows like these challenge the notion that the big screen is superior to the small screen.
Saif Ali Khan will be starring as a politician who aspires to become a Prime Minister. “It is a show based on politics and is set on a massive scale. I don’t want to use American examples, but it’s along the lines of House Of Cards, although set within the framework of Indian politics. The plot takes into account various factions like Dalit politics and UP cops and the whole nexus between them,” he said. Saif earlier said, “My character is Chanakya-like, in the guise of a youth leader who comes from a privileged background and aspires to become the Prime Minister.”
The political drama will see Purab Kohli and Kriti Kamra in critical roles. It is being said that the web series will begin streaming in 2020.

दैनिक भास्कर से बातचीत के दौरान ग्रेसी कहती हैं, ‘‘संतोषी मां के अवतार में लौटने का यह पूरा अनुभव एक बार फिर बेहद कमाल का है। इस किरदार के लिए खासतौर से तैयार किया गया मुकुट ना केवल सुंदर है, बल्कि इसे बड़ी नज़ाकत और खूबसूरती से बनाया गया है।मेकर्स ने काफी मेहनत की है और इसे संभालने में काफी सावधानी बरती जाती है, सिर्फ धार्मिक कारणों से नहीं, बल्कि यह बेहद खास और नाजुक है। सेट पर हमेशा ही दो लोग मौजूद होते हैं जो कि खासतौर से इस मुकुट को पहनने में मेरी मदद करते हैं।’’

Prince to get all star tribute from John Legend, Alicia Keys, Usher, Chris Martin and others January 09, 2020 at 02:30PM
The Purple one, legendary musician Prince will be getting an all-star tribute and the artists for the concert have been announced. Two days after Grammys 2020, the Recording Academy will host a tribute for the late singer at Los Angeles Convention Center on Tuesday, January, 28.
The concert titled Let’s Go Crazy: The Grammy Salute to Prince, the event will see joint performances from Prince's friends and collaborators including his band The Revolution, Sheila E. and Morris Day and the Time, Prince's funk band. Sheila will also serve as co-musical director with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis for the concert.
The artists announced for the tribute performances include John Legend, Alicia Keys, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Juanes, Usher, Foo Fighters, H.E.R., Gary Clark Jr., St. Vincent, Common, Earth, Wind & Fire, Mavis Staples, and Susanna Hoffs.
“Prince. The Purple One. His Royal Badness — regardless of how you identify him, he is indisputably one of the greatest musical virtuosos of all time,” Deborah Dugan, president, and CEO of the Recording Academy said in a statement to Entertainment Weekly. “With his subversive attitude and commanding nature, he straddled musical genres and created electrifying music that was bursting with character. He continues to serve as an inspirational icon for artists and fans worldwide, and we are so honored to pay tribute to his legacy at this year’s post-Grammys special.”
The Grammys will be taking place on January 27, 2020.
