सदमे में हैं अंकिता: सुशांत की मौत की खबर सुनकर अंकिता गहरे सदमे में आ गई थीं। सीरियल पवित्र रिश्ता में अंकिता-सुशांत के साथ काम कर चुकीं एक्ट्रेस प्रार्थना बेहेरे ने उनकी हालत पर एक न्यूजपेपर से बातचीत में कहा था, 'अंकिता बेहद बुरे हाल में हैं और बस रोती ही रहतीहैं।' सुशांत की मौत के बाद अंकिता उनके परिवार से मिलने उनके घर भी गई थीं।

Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan are making a quick recovery from the Coronavirus and they may be out of the hospital sooner than expected.
A source close to the family informs that the two are likely to be home by end of week. “But home quarantine is expected to be observed for the next two weeks for all the four infected Bachchans,” says the source.
Abhishek’s wife Aishwarya and their daughter Aaradhya displayed only mild symptoms of the Virus and are recovering fast. Though Abhishek is making a more rapid recovery than his father, he is expected to stay back in hospital until Mr Bachchan too recovers enough to return home.

कोलकाता में अमिताभ बच्चन के फैन्स उनके और उनके परिवार की सलामती के लिए नॉन-स्टॉप महामृत्युंजय यज्ञ कर रहे हैं। फैन्स का कहना है कि यह यज्ञ तब तक जारी रहेगा, जब तक बच्चन और उनके फैमिली मेंबर्स कोरोनावायरस से पूरी तरह रिकवर नहीं हो जाते। अमिताभ बच्चन फैन्स एसोसिएशन के सदस्य संजय पटोदिया ने अपने एक बयान में यह जानकारी दी।
रविवार सुबह से शुरू हुआ यह यज्ञ पहले शहर के बॉन्डेल गेट इलाके में बच्चन को समर्पित मंदिर (जो कि संजय पटोदिया ने ही बनवाया है) में करने की योजना बनाई गई थी। लेकिन लगातार बारिश के बाद जलभराव के कारण उन्हें जगह बदलनी पड़ी। अब यह यज्ञ मंदिर के बगल में ही मौजूद संजय के फ्लैट में हो रहा है।

सोमवार को न्यूज एजेंसी पीटीआई ने अस्पताल से जुड़े सूत्रों के हवाले से लिखा था- अमिताभ और अभिषेक दोनों आइसोलेशन वार्ड में हैं और क्लिनिकली स्टेबल हैं। फिलहाल, उन्हें किसी खास ट्रीटमेंट की जरूरत नहीं है। उनके लिए फर्स्ट लाइन मेडिकेशन ही सही है। उन्हें सपोर्टिव थेरेपी दी जा रही है। उनकी नब्ज ठीक चल रही है और भूख भी अच्छी लग रही है।"
नानावटी हॉस्पिटल के क्रिटिकल केयर सर्विस के हेड डॉ. अब्दुल समद अंसारी ने अपने स्टेटमेंट में कहा था- जब से अमिताभ में कोविड के लक्षण दिख रहे हैं, तब से संभवतः यह पांचवां दिन है। मरीजों में कोरोना का असर 10वें या 12वें दिन ज्यादा दिखता है। लेकिन सभी के साथ ऐसा नहीं होता। कई लोगों में हल्के लक्षण ही रहते हैं।
एक अन्य रिपोर्ट में अस्पताल से जुड़े सूत्रों के हवाले से लिखा है कि अमिताभ को उनके कमजोर फेफड़ों और मेडिकल हिस्ट्री को देखते हुए नियंत्रित तरीके से इलाज दिया जा रहा था। इस बात का खास ख्याल रखा जा रहा है कि इलाज का कोई भी प्रतिकूल प्रभाव उनके फेफड़ों पर न पड़े।
एक रिपोर्ट में यह बात सामने भी आई कि अमिताभ और अभिषेक को वही खाना दिया जा रहा है, जो बाकी कोरोना मरीजों को दिया जा रहा है। डॉ. अब्दुल समद अंसारी की निगरानी में दोनों के सभी टेस्ट और जरूरी चेकअप किए जा रहे हैं।
एक रिपोर्ट में आया कि अमिताभ के 26 स्टाफ मेंबर का स्वाब टेस्ट निगेटिव आया। 'ब्रीद' में अभिषेक बच्चन के को-एक्टर अमित साध की रिपोर्ट भी निगेटिव आई।
शनिवार को पॉजिटिव आया था अमिताभ-अभिषेक का कोविड टेस्ट
शनिवार को शाम अमिताभ बच्चन और उनके बेटे अभिषेक का कोविड टेस्ट पॉजिटिव आया था। दोनों खुद कार चलाकर नानावटी अस्पताल पहुंचे थे। अमिताभ ने खुद यह जानकारी ट्विटर पर दी थी।
अमिताभ ने लिखा था, 'मैं कोरोना पॉजिटिव पाया गया हूं। अस्पताल में भर्ती हो चुका हूं। मेरे परिवार और स्टाफ के लोगों का टेस्ट हुआ है। उनकी रिपोर्ट का इंतजार है। पिछले 10 दिनों में मेरे संपर्क में आने वाले सभी लोगों से गुजारिश है कि वे अपना टेस्ट कराएं।'
इसी तरह अभिषेक ने भी पिता और अपने कोविड पॉजिटिव होने की खबर फैन्स को दी थी और पैनिक न होने की अपील भी की थी। उन्होंने लिखा था, "आज हम दोनों, मेरे पिता और मैं कोविड 19 पॉजिटिव पाए गए हैं। हम दोनों को हल्के लक्षण थे, जिसके बाद हम अस्पताल में भर्ती हो गए हैं। हमने सभी जरूरी अथॉरिटीज को जानकारी दे दी है और हमारे परिवार व स्टॉफ के सदस्यों का टेस्ट कराया जा रहा है। मैं सभी से शांत रहने और पैनिक न फैलाने की गुजारिश करता हूं। धन्यवाद।'

रविवार को अभिषेक बच्चन की पत्नी ऐश्वर्या राय और बेटी आराध्या भी कोविड पॉजिटिव पाई गई थीं। बीएमसी ने दोनों को घर में ही आइसोलेट किया है। अमिताभ के चारों बंगलों को सैनेटाइज किया जा चुका है।अमिताभ की पत्नी जया बच्चन, बेटी श्वेता बच्चन, नातिन नव्या नंदा और नाती अगस्त्य नंदा की कोरोना रिपोर्ट निगेटिव आई।

आगे उन्होंने लिखा, 'मैं, मेरे परिवार और घर पर मौजूद अन्य कर्मचारियों, सभी की रिपोर्ट नेगेटिव आई है। साथ ही हम आवश्यक सावधानियां भी बरतेंगे। BMC द्वारा की गई सभी तरह की मदद और मार्गदर्शन के लिए मेरे और मेरे परिवार की तरफ से ईमानदारी से उनका धन्यवाद। सभी सुरक्षित रहें।' सारा अपनी मां अमृता सिंहऔर भाई इब्राहिम के साथ मुंबई स्थित घर में रहती हैं।

इससे पहले शनिवार को महानायक अमिताभ बच्चन और उनके बेटे अभिषेक की कोरोना रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव आने के बाद उन्हें अस्पताल में भर्ती किया गया था। वहीं अगले दिनउनकी बहूऐश्वर्या और पोती आराध्या में भी कोरोना के हल्के लक्षण पाए गए। जिसके बाद उन्हें घर पर ही क्वारैंटाइन किया गया।
इसके अलावा शनिवार को अभिनेत्री रेखा के बंगले का एकसिक्योरिटी गार्ड भी कोरोना पॉजिटिव मिला था। शनिवार को आई इस खबर के बाद बीएमसी ने रेखा के बंगले को सील कर दिया था।उधर अभिनेता अनुपम खेर ने भी रविवार को अपनी मां समेत परिवार के चार सदस्यों के कोरोना संक्रमित होने की जानकारी दी थी।

The body of missing "Glee" star Naya Rivera was found Monday near the surface of a Southern California lake, authorities said. Ventura County Sheriff Bill Ayub said at a news conference that the body that search crews found floating in the northeast corner of Lake Piru earlier in the day was the 33-year-old Rivera.
It was being reported that the veteran actress Rekha will undergo a COVID-19 test after her staff tested positive. According to the latest reports, she is under home quarantine.
On June 8, it was reported that actress Naya Rivera, famously known for her role of Santana Lopez in TV series Glee, went missing in a swimming accident at Lake Piru in California. The actress had gone on a boat with her 4-year-old son Josey. On July 13, five days after the incident, her body was found and the authorities announced her death at the age of 33.
During the press conference, the authorities said that it seemed like the currents were too strong and boat drifted away. As per the details provided by her son, she saved him but couldn't muster up the courage to save herself. Ventura County Sheriff Bill Ayub said, “It would be speculation to say at this point. There are a lot of currents on the lake that appear particularly in the afternoon. We believe it was mid-afternoon when she disappeared, the idea perhaps being that the boat started drifting, it was unanchored, and that she mustered enough energy to get her son back onto the boat, but not enough to save herself.”
Ayub also said that there is no sign of foul play and or any indication of suicide.
On July 14, a few cast members of Glee were at Lake Piru who joined Naya Rivera's ex-husband Ryan Dorsey and her father at the lake. Glee co-stars Amber Riley, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Heather Morris, and Jenna Ushkowitz as part of the group who wanted to help during the search of her body before the authorities found her.
The day also marked Glee actor Cory Monteith's seventh death anniversary.
Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar is in talks with actor Diljit Dosanjh for a film based on the 1984 riots in India that occurred post the assassination of Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
According to the reports, he has always wanted to make a film based on the riots and now has found the subject to work on the script. He will be creatively involved in the script apart from producing it. Ali and his team are in talks with Diljit Dosanjh and feel he is best suited for the character. The actor reportedly has agreed verbally but the makers take a final narration in a few months. The idea is to begin the project after the situation returns to normalcy.
Interestingly, Diljit Dosanjh has already worked on Punjabi film Punjab 1984 based on the rights that was directed by Anurag Singh. Released in 2014, it won National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Punjabi.

Actor Sara Ali Khan has informed that her driver has tested positive for COVID-19. She further revealed that her family also got tested and the reports came negative.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan have tested positive for COVID-19. While Big B and Abhishek are in a hospital, Aishwarya and daughter Aaradhya are in home quarantine. Yesterday, the 'Guru' actor took to his Twitter handle to confirm that his wife and daughter have tested positive.
Actor John Travolta is mourning the loss of his wife and actor Kelly Preston who passed away this past weekend. The actor announced that his wife lost her two-year battle with breast cancer.
“It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer,” John Travolta wrote on Instagram. “She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many. My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers that have helped, as well as her many friends and loved ones who have been by her side.
“Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered,” he further continued. “I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while. But please know that I will feel your outpouring of love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal. All my love, JT."
John Travolta and Kelly Preston got married back in 1991. She was survived by their kids Ella, 20, and Benjamin, 9. Back in 2009, their son Jett passed away at the age of 16.
Over the years, Kelly starred in films like Jerry Maguire, and Sky High among others.
If one had to sum up Bollywood’s first-family post the Coronavirus attack in one line, it would have to be, “Baatein kam calm zyada.” The entire family was calm on Saturday when Abhishek and his Dad tested positive for Covid-19.
“They had very mild symptoms. In fact Abhishek was promoting his new web series Breathe: Into The Shadows till late in the night on Friday. He had no clue of any health issues. On Saturday both father and son tested Covid 19 positive and were hospitalized. Both are recovering well and should be home early this week,” says a source close to the Bachchans.
Aishwarya and daughter Aaradhya who tested positive on Saturday are likely to be quarantined at home.
“They both have very mild symptoms and require no specialized care. Aaradhya is in fact keeping everyone’s spirit high, while her Naani (Mrs Jaya Bachchan), the only member of the Bachchan family at Jalsa to not test positive for Covid19 is running around trying to keep the household running normally,” says the source.
What one immediately notices in the strikingly lush, almost decadent, trailer of Mira Nair’s eagerly awaited adaptation of Vikram Seth’s A Suitable Boy, is the crackling chemistry between young eager Ishaan Khatter and the incandescent Tabu.
Their portrayal of forbidden love looks too authentic to be faked for the camera. Every gaze that they share seems to melt their mutual resistance into a mound of incurable salvation. Khatter an extremely talented actor who made a telling debut in Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds in 2017 has not done any film since the very mediocre Karan Johar production Dhadak.
After turning down at least 9 major assignments including one from Vishal Bhardwaj, super-choosy Ishaan finally said yes to Mira Nair’s screen adaptation of Vikram Seth’s charming novel. Apparently, Tabu played a big hand in convincing Ishaan to accept the offer. Ishaan plays a young man from a respectable family besotted by an older scandalous woman. They share plenty of steamy sequences in the miniseries.
Sources say Ishaan, 24, was put completely at ease by Tabu, 48, before their intimate scenes. These erotic scenes have turned out really special, so special that I’m afraid the rest of the trailer and by extension, the series, threatens to be overshadowed by the sheer chemistry between Tabu and her young co-star.
The main character in the film Lata, played by newcomer Tanya Maniktala, barely registers. And what’s with that stilted English that everyone speaks in the film? Is that what BBC wanted?
Some good news on Monday morning. Breathe actor Amit Sadh and his fans can breathe easy. He has been tested negative for Covid 19 after his colleague and co-star Abhishek Bachchan tested positive.
Amit got himself tested on Sunday … “just in case”. The report came in on Monday morning. “I’ve tested negative. In any case I wasn’t worried. We are in this together. We need to fight the endemic and emerge stronger,” says Amit.
