Saif Ali Khan confirms his next film LAFDEBAAZ co-starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday January 27, 2020 at 07:15PM

Saif Ali Khan is currently enjoying the success of his last release Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior in which he starred alongside Ajay Devgn. The actor is currently is promoting Jawaani Jaaneman which is his co-production. With that being said, he has confirmed the title of his next project.

It has already been reported that Saif Ali Khan will star alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday in Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment production. While the plot and character details have been kept under wraps, it's been revealed that the film is titled Lafdebaaz.

It was reported that he is playing the role of Ananya's father. He said that in the film, his character is a dysfunctional, wild, slightly crazy father that makes it quite interesting.

Interestingly, he is also starring with Siddhant Chaturvedi in Bunty Aur Babli 2. He will reunite with Rani Mukerji and Siddhant is paired opposite Sharvani Wagh.

Meanwhile, he also confirmed that he will do Vikram Vedha remake too. His film Jawaani Jaaneman is set for January 31, 2020 release.

Could we see a reunion between Sameer and Akash from Dil Chahta Hai? There were reports that suggested that Saif Ali Khan was approached to play to the bad guy in the Vikram Vedha remake. Interestingly, his Dil Chahta Hai co-star Aamir Khan has been approached for the protagonist's role.

When asked Saif Ali Khan on the speculations around the film, he confirmed that he has indeed been approached for the film. But, he has not been asked for the role of the bad guy. He said that it is too early to talk about the project but he is looking forward to the film the most.

If the earlier reports are to be believed, Aamir Khan will play the role of most wanted gangster Vedha played by Vijay Sethupathi whereas Saif will reprise R Madhavan's role as a cop. The original director Pushkar Gayatri will helm the project.

The suspense thriller was a surprise blockbuster of 2017. Y Not Studios and Neeraj Pandey will produce the Hindi remake.

बॉलीवुड डेस्क. राज औरडीके के नाम से मशहूर फिल्ममेकर जोड़ी राज निदिमोरू और कृष्णा डीके की मानें तो शाहरुख खान को उनकी एक स्क्रिप्ट पसंद आ गई है। वे भविष्य में सुपरस्टार के साथ काम कर सकते हैं। हालांकि, एसआरके ने उन्हें महत्वपूर्ण सलाह देते हुए कहा है कि वे नहीं चाहते थे डायरेक्टर जोड़ी इस प्रोजेक्ट पर उनका सुझाव ले। राज औरडीके फिल्म क्रिटिक राजीव मसंद के इंटरव्यू में बात कर रहे थे।

प्रोजेक्ट पर काम जारी

राज ने इस बात की पुष्टि की कि प्रोजेक्ट पर काम चल रहा है। वे कहते हैं, "कई मुलाकातों के बाद भी शाहरुख ने एक ही बात दोहराई। मुझे लगता है कि यह सही भी है कि वे एकदम खुले हुए हैं। यह हमारी पसंदीदा स्क्रिप्ट्स में से एक है, जिसे हमने यह सोचकर होल्ड पर रखा है कि सही समय पर इसे बनाएंगे। अगर हम उन्हें (शाहरुख ) इसमें ला सकते हैं तो बहुत ही एक्साइटिंग होगा।"

टीवी डेस्क (किरण जैन). छह महीने पहले शुरू हुआ एकता कपूर का शो 'हैवान' जल्द ही ऑफ एयर हो जाएगा। शो से जुड़े करीबी लोगों का कहना है कि मेकर्स ने इसे बड़ी उम्मीद के साथ लांच किया था, लेकिन लोगों को ये कांसेप्ट कुछ खास पसंद नहीं आया और लगातार गिरती टीआरपी की वजह से चैनल ने इसे बंद करने का फैसला ले लिया। दैनिक भास्कर के साथ बातचीत में शो के लीड एक्टर परम सिंह ने भी शो के बंद होने की बात को कंफर्म कर दिया।

इस बारे में बात करते हुए परम सिंह ने कहा, 'जी हाँ, ये सच है कि हमारा शो बंद होने वाला है। हालांकि मुझे इस बारे में ज्यादा डिटेल्स बताने की परमिशन नहीं है। फिलहाल मैं बस इतना कह सकता हूँ कि ये शो मेरे लिए बहुत ही अलग, भावुक, मुश्किल और सिखने वाला एक्सपीरियंस था। मैंने 7 महीने तक इसके लिए शूट किया और मेरा अनुभव बहुत ही शानदार रहा। जितना वक्त मुझे इस शो और शो के मेंबर्स के साथ बिताने को मिला, उसे लेकर मैं संतुष्ट और खुश हूँ।'

16 फरवरी से होगा बंद

इस सीरियल के जरिए एकता ने भी पहली बार क्राइम और साइंस-फिक्शन जॉनर में अपनी किस्मत आजमाई थी। लेकिन उनकी ये कोशिश सफल नहीं हो सकी। इस शो का प्रीमियर पिछले साल 31 अगस्त को जी टीवी और ZEE5 पर हुआ था। ये शनिवार और रविवार को रात 10 बजे प्रसारित होता था। ये सीरियल 16 फरवरी से ऑफ-एयर हो जाएगा।
