Deepika Padukone's manager Karishma Prakash has been untraceable for a while ever since her name up in the drugs angle case that Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has been investigating for the past couple of months. While Deepika had arrived from Goa to give her statement when she was summoned, her manager has been missing even after summons were sent to her. Now, it seems like she has resigned from KWAN Talent Agency.
As per a report by Times Now, Karishma Prakash “resigned on 21 October. Her associations with Deepika Padukone and some other actors were only as a KWAN employee. Naturally, those connections will also be severed,”
Karishma Prakash was summoned by the NCB on October 27 after drugs were allegedly seized from her residence. As per reports, 1.7 grams of charas and two bottles of CBD oil were found at her house.

Akshay Kumar has been a busy man. After wrapping up Bell Bottom, in Scotland in August, the actor has resumed work on a period drama, Prithviraj, at a city studio. Before the year ends, he will wrap up Aanand L Rai’s love story Atrangi Re and kick off the new year with a fourth film in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. Sajid Nadiadwala’s Bachchan Pandey will roll in January and continue till March. It marks the actor’s 10th collaboration with his producer-buddy.
“Akshay, along with actress Kriti Sanon, director Farhad Samji and the rest of the unit will fly to Jaisalmer in a charter for a marathon schedule of over 2 months during which they will be shooting in real locations. Last month, the production team secured all the requisite permissions and taken care of all the government guidelines and locked the shooting locations,” revealed a source. Akshay, Sajid, Kriti, and Farhad’s previous collaboration, the 2019 period-comedy Housefull 4, was also shot in the Golden City and the source added that several of that film’s crew are on board for Bachchan Pandey as well.
The entire team will be stationed at a Suryagarh Hotel together and some indoor sequences will be shot there. The film also has some elaborate action scenes and teams from across the country will be joining the crew for that shoot. Bachchan Pandey, along with Heropanti 2, will be among the first two Sajid Nadiadwala productions to flag off, and the filmmaker has formed a special team, including doctors from Mumbai, to ensure that all Covid safety protocols are enforced on the set.
“The team will undergo an extensive workshop on all SOPs issued by the government to ensure a “no-contact set” to be created. The entire cast and crew will undergo a mandatory Covid test towards December end and the crew will be quarantined for three days before the shoot. Two doctors to fly with the crew from Mumbai to Jaisalmer and will be stationed at the shooting location. Special medical rooms will be set up in Jaisalmer and each and every location will be sanitized a day prior to the shoot,” informed the source.
“Akshay is looking forward to exploring another interesting script. His get-up will be high on prosthetics which is prominent in the last poster which came out in January 2020,” shared the source, saying that the film will have an interesting ensemble cast and some acclaimed actors are expected to come on board within a fortnight. “There’s also another actress who will be a part of the film and the makers are considering two-three names; dates are being worked upon,” the source concluded.

2020 में मां बनने के फायदे
कोरोना महामारी के बीच मां बनने पर अमृता ने कहा, ‘बेशक 2020 बेहद मुश्किल साल है लेकिन मैं इसका अच्छा पक्ष भी देखती हूं। 2020 में कंसीव करने के भी अपने फायदे हैं। मेरे बेबी को शुद्ध घर का खाना मिलेगा क्योंकि उसकी दादी और नानी हमारे साथ रहने के लिए आ गई हैं। न्यूक्लियर फैमिली अचानक से जॉइंट फैमिली बन गई है। एक दूसरे के साथ वक्त बिताने का मौका, बॉन्डिंग, परिवार के सदस्यों के बीच बातचीत, साथ खाना-पीना और छोटी-बड़ी चीजों की प्लानिंग सबके साथ करना भी मेरे बच्चों में अच्छे संस्कार जरूर डालेगा।’
अमृता के हसबैंड आरजे अनमोल ने भी पिछले दिनों लॉकडाउन के टाइम को बेहद लकी बताया था। उन्होंने कहा था, ‘किसे ऐसे समय में 24 घंटे साथ रहने का मौका मिलता है? हम बाहर नहीं निकले और इस बात को बहुत ही स्ट्रिक्टली फॉलो किया कि लॉक डाउन के समय कहीं भी नहीं जाना है। मेरा शो मार्च में आने वाला था लेकिन उसी वक्त मुझे ये भी खबर मिली कि मैं पिता बनने वाला हूं।’
2016 में की थी शादी
अमृता और अनमोल ने 2016 में शादी की थी। अमृता ने ‘विवाह’, ‘मैं हूं ना’, ‘इश्क-विश्क’ जैसी फिल्मों में काम किया है। 39 साल की अमृता की पिछली फिल्म ‘ठाकरे’ थी जो कि 2019 में रिलीज हुई थी।

दीपिका पादुकोण की मैनेजर करिश्मा प्रकाश ने ड्रग्स केस में फंसने के बाद टैलेंट मैनेजमेंट कंपनी क्वान से इस्तीफा दे दिया है। बॉम्बे टाइम्स ने अपनी रिपोर्ट में एजेंसी से जुड़े सूत्रों के हवाले से लिखा है, "करिश्मा अब एजेंसी के साथ काम नहीं कर रही हैं। 21 अक्टूबर को उन्होंने अपना इस्तीफा भेज दिया है। दीपिका पादुकोण और दूसरे एक्टर्स के साथ उनका जुड़ाव क्वान की कर्मचारी के तौर पर था। इसलिए स्वाभाविक रूप से इन एसोसिएशंस को तोड़ दिया जाएगा।"
एनसीबी का समन मिलने के बाद से लापता हैं करिश्मा
न्यूज एजेंसी आईएएनएस की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, नारकोटिक्स कंट्रोल ब्यूरो का समन मिलने के बाद से करिश्मा प्रकाश लापता है। सोमवार को एनसीबी के एक अधिकारी ने इस बात की पुष्टि की। अधिकारी के मुताबिक, करिश्मा को 27 अक्टूबर को सवाल-जवाब के लिए जांच एजेंसी के सामने पेश होने के लिए कहा गया था। अब उन्हें नया समन भेजा है। चूंकि, वे लापता हैं। इसलिए समन उनकी मां मिताक्षरा पुरोहित के हाथ में दिया गया है।
करिश्मा के घर से प्रतिबंधित ड्रग्स बरामद हुई थी
पिछले मंगलवार छापेमारी के बाद करिश्मा के घर से 1.8 ग्राम प्रतिबंधित ड्रग्स बरामद हुई थी। इसके बाद एनसीबी ने समन करके करिश्मा को बुधवार को पूछताछ के लिए बुलाया था। पूरे दिन एनसीबी के अधिकारी उनका इंतजार करते रहे। लेकिन वह हाजिर नहीं हुई।
दो बार समन भेजने के बावजूद जब करिश्मा नहीं आईं तो बीते गुरुवार उनके खिलाफ एनसीबी ने नारकोटिक ड्रग्स एंड साइकोट्रोपिक सबस्टेंस (NDPS) अधिनियम के तहत उनके खिलाफ केस दर्ज कर लिया है। शनिवार को करिश्मा की ओर से गिरफ्तारी से बचने के लिए एनडीपीएस कोर्ट में अग्रिम जमानत की याचिका दायर की गई।
करिश्मा को गिरफ्तार किया जा सकता है
हालांकि, करिश्मा के घर से बरामद ड्रग्स बहुत छोटी मात्रा में है। लेकिन इसके लिए उन्हें गिरफ्तार किया जा सकता है। NCB सूत्रों के मुताबिक, करिश्मा के इस घर से सीबीडी ऑइल की तीन शीशियां भी जब्त की गई है। आरोप सिद्ध होने पर उन्हें एक साल सश्रम कारावास या 10,000 रुपए तक का जुर्माना, या दोनों हो सकता है।
एनसीबी करिश्मा से दो बार पूछताछ कर चुकी है
पिछले महीने दीपिका और करिश्मा के बीच ड्रग्स को लेकर हुई बातचीत सामने आई थी। 28 अक्टूबर 2017 की चैट में दीपिका ने ‘hash’ और ‘weed’ शब्दों का इस्तेमाल किया था। कयास लगाए जा रहे हैं hash शब्द हशीश के लिए और weed गांजे के लिए इस्तेमाल किया गया था। मामले में एनसीबी करिश्मा से 2 बार पूछताछ कर चुकी है। एक बार दीपिका पादुकोण के सामने बैठाकर करिश्मा से पूछताछ की गई थी।
ड्रग्स कनेक्शन में दीपिका-करिश्मा का नाम कैसे आया?
करिश्मा प्रकाश सेलिब्रिटी मैनेजमेंट कंपनी ‘क्वान’ में काम करती थीं। यह कंपनी 40 से ज्यादा बॉलीवुड सेलेब्रिटीज को टैलेंट मैनेजर मुहैया करवाती है। रिया चक्रवर्ती की मैनेजर जया साहा भी इसी कंपनी के लिए काम करती हैं। जया, करिश्मा की सीनियर हैं। NCB, CBI और ED की टीम जया से कई बार पूछताछ कर चुकी है। जांच के दौरान NCB को जया और करिश्मा के बीच हुई चैट का पता चला। इसके बाद मामला दीपिका तक पहुंचा।

And now, if reports are to be believed, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to add one more feather in his cap.
A source reveals, “Shah Rukh Khan is all set to open a full-fledged studio in the next few years. It will be a state-of-the-art facility and will be equipped with all kinds of amenities. It will be built over a large area and will consist of several floors or shooting sets. Even outdoor venues will be available inside the shooting premises itself. SRK and his team even have plans to develop soundstages and also sets specifically designed to shoot VFX-heavy stuff. In short, it’ll be an apt shooting location which is sure to be lapped up by several filmmakers.”
The source further adds, “Shah Rukh Khan is already looking for places where the studio could be built. Getting such a large mass of land in a city like Mumbai will be impossible. Hence, he and his team are eyeing Navi Mumbai. It’s closer to the city and moreover, the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link is expected to be ready in a few years and it’ll make commuting faster. Not just that, the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport will ensure that filmmakers from all over the country and also the world can reach the studio in no time after they land here. If all goes well, SRK will also establish a hotel inside the studio premises and hence, the unit members can stay inside the studio itself. The vision of Shah Rukh is excellent and it’s sure to be a landmark self-contained film studio of India.”
On the film front, Shah Rukh Khan is finally expected to shoot after a hiatus of nearly two years, for Pathan. It is produced by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films and directed by Siddharth Anand.

The past eight months have been very difficult on all of us with the sudden lockdown due to the pandemic. With the businesses and films resuming their work steadily, there are a lot of safety precautions that need to be put in place before they handle a big crew without anyone contracting the virus. Ajay Devgn has not resumed shoot yet and has been planning a 12-day schedule for his upcoming film Bhuj – The Pride Of India. As per the reports, Ajay Devgn will accompany Sanjay Dutt, Ammy Virk, and Sharad Kelkar on this 12-day schedule to can a few dramatic scenes and fight sequences.
The team is currently on a recce for a location safe enough to shoot the remaining portions of the film and the shoot is likely to resume after Diwali. The final schedule will kick-off once Sanjay Dutt is back from his family vacation from Dubai and the makers will call in Sonakshi Sinha and Nora Fatehi for their final patchwork. The director plans to keep all the safety measures in place and is excited to be back on the sets. Bhuj – The Pride Of India is a period war drama that will have an ample amount of action sequences and drama with Ajay Devgn playing the role of Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik.
Like many other films this year, this Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, and Sonakshi Sinha starrer is set of an OTT release.
