बॉलीवुड अभिनेत्री जूही चावला 53 साल की हो गई हैं। अपने चुलबुले अंदाज से जूही ने फैन्स के अलावा सलमान खान के दिल में भी जगह बना ली थी। जी हां, एक वक्त ऐसा था जब सलमान, जूही चावला से शादी करना चाहते थे, लेकिन जूही के पिता ने सलमान का प्रपोजल ठुकरा दिया था। इस बात का खुलासा सलमान ने खुद एक इंटरव्यू में किया था।
दरअसल, करीब 28 साल पुराना एक वीडियो में सलमान इस बात का खुलासा खुद करते दिखे थे जो कि काफी वायरल भी हुआ था।
जूही के पिता ने ठुकराया था प्रपोजल
वीडियो में सलमान, जूही के बारे में बात करते हुए कह रहे हैं- वो बहुत स्वीट हैं। मैंने उनके पिता से शादी के बारे में बात की थी। फिर वे मुंह बनाकर कहते हैं कि जूही के पिता ने उनका प्रपोजल स्वीकार नहीं किया। सलमान ने जूही के पिता के बारे में कहा- पता नहीं उन्हें क्या चाहिए। सलमान ने अपने बचपन को लेकर भी बात की। एक सवाल के जवाब में उन्होंने कहा- बचपन में शरारत करने पर उन्हें कभी मार नहीं पड़ी।
जय मेहता से हुई जूही की शादी
अब सलमान 53 साल के हो चुके हैं लेकिन अभी तक उनकी शादी नहीं हुई है। वहीं, जूही की लव स्टोरी भी बेहद दिलचस्प है। जूही ने एक शादीशुदा शख्स से शादी की है। उनके पति का नाम जय मेहता है। हालांकि, जय से जब जूही पहली बार मिलीं तो उनकी पत्नी सुजाता बिड़ला की मौत हो चुकी थी। सुजाता की मौत एक प्लेन क्रैश में हुई थी। इस हादसे के बाद ही जूही और जय के बीच नजदीकियां बढ़ीं और फिर दोनों ने शादी कर ली थी। जूही के पति उनसे उम्र में7 साल बड़े हैं। दोनों के दो बच्चे, बेटी जाह्नवी और बेटा अर्जुन हैं।
जूही के पति जय मेहता मल्टीनेशनल कंपनी मेहता ग्रुप के ओनर हैं। उनकी सीमेंट की दो कंपनियां भी है। शाहरुख खान के साथ वे आईपीएल टीम कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स के को-ओनर भी हैं।

एक्टर आसिफ बसरा की मौत की खबर से बॉलीवुड में शोक की लहर है। आसिफ गुरुवार सुबह हिमाचल प्रदेश के धर्मशाला के मैक्लोडगंज में एक कैफे के पास अपने घर पर मृत मिले थे। पुलिस को सुसाइड की आशंका है।
बताया जा रहा है कि उन्होंने अपने पालतू कुत्ते की रस्सी से फांसी लगाकर जान दे दी। हालांकि अभी आत्महत्या के कारणों का पता नहीं चला है। कहा जा रहा है कि वे डिप्रेशन से जूझ रहे थे।
53 साल के आसिफ की मौत की खबर सुनकर उनके साथ काम कर चुके मनोज बाजपेयी भी दुखी हैं। उन्होंने ट्विटर पर लिखा, "क्या? यह बहुत शॉकिंग है। लॉकडाउन से पहले उनके साथ शूटिंग की थी।" टाइम्स ऑफ इंडिया को दिए इंटरव्यू में भी मनोज ने आसिफ को लेकर कई सारी बातें शेयर कीं।
मुंबई की भाग-दौड़ भरी जिंदगी नहीं थी पसंद
मनोज ने कहा, ''मैं लगातार उनके साथ टच में नहीं था। मैंने उनके साथ काम जरूर किया था लेकिन हम साथ में कम ही हैंगआउट कर पाए। हमने सेट पर काफी अच्छा समय बिताया था। मुझे उनका सेंस ऑफ ह्यूमर पसंद था। वह भी थिएटर बैकग्राउंड से आते थे और सेट पर हमारी खूब बनती थी।
वह कमाल के एक्टर थे। साथ ही खुशमिजाज इंसान थे। उन्हें शांति पसंद थी इसलिए उन्होंने रहने के लिए मायानगरी की चकाचौंध को पीछे छोड़कर धर्मशाला चुना था। वह केवल शूटिंग के लिए मुंबई आते थे। हम में से बहुत कम लोग हैं जो मुंबई के बाहर बसना पसंद करते हैं। बड़े शहर अपना चार्म खो रहे हैं। यह बड़ा कदम था और मैं इस बात के लिए उनकी सराहना करता हूं कि सब चीजों के ऊपर अपनी खुशी और शांति को चुना।''
इन फिल्मों में किया था काम
आसिफ 1998 से फिल्मों में एक्टिव थे। उन्होंने 'वो' (`1998) 'ब्लैक फ्राइडे' (2004), 'जब वी मेट' (2007), 'वन्स अपॉन अ टाइम इन मुंबई' (2010), 'कृष 3' (2013), 'काई पो छे' (2013) और 'हिचकी' (2018) जैसी फिल्मों में काम किया था। 'होस्टेजेस' और 'पाताल लोक' जैसी हिट वेब सीरीज में भी उन्होंने अहम भूमिकाएं निभाईं थीं।

Arjun Rampal's girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades was questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for the second time on Thursday. During the investigation, she denied having ever consumed or peddled drugs. The officials will be recording her statements on Friday.
Talking to a news channel, a NCB official said that she has reportedly distanced herself from her brother Agisilaos Demetriades. Her brother is the NCB custody in two cases for the alleged procurement, storage and sale of drugs.
A few days ago, the NCB officials had conducted a raid at Arjun Rampal's house in Mumbai where Gabriella stays with him and recovered some drugs. When asked about the same, Gabriella said that she is not aware of them. She reportedly also said that Arjun Rampal has never consumed drugs.
Meanwhile, Arjun Rampal will be questioned by the NCB on Friday at 10 am. The NCB had seized electronic gadgets like laptops, mobile phones and tablets during the search at Rampal's residence and questioned the actor's driver.

A week ago, actor Vijay Raaz was arrested and later released on bail after a female crew member filed a case of molestation against him. The actor was shooting in Madhya Pradesh for the Vidya Balan starrer Sherni. The makers of the film encouraged the victim to file an official complaint with the production house and they set up an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) to probe the matter.
Vijay Raaz has been temporarily suspended from the film owing to the complaint received by the production house. Now, a week later, the actor while talking to a daily opened up about the matter. He said that he understands the gravitas of the issue and is cooperating with the investigation. However, the actor finds it shocking that his services were suspended and terminated even before an investigation. Raaz, who has been a part of the industry for 23 years now, says it is a dangerous place to be in.
The Run actor goes on to say that he has worked hard to build his career and reputation. He said that people are bound to make judgements without hearing the other side of the story. He feels that he has been pronounced guilty even before the investigation. He said that his right to earn a livelihood has been badly affected and calls himself the victim in this situation.
Raaz said that he immediately apologised to the female crew member who said she was made to feel uncomfortable. The actor said that him apologising meant that he respected her feelings and not admitting to claims made at the police station.
