बॉलीवुड डेस्क. दुनियाभर में प्यार का दिन वैलेंटाइन डे मनाया जा रहा है। इस मौके पर जानते हैं महानायक अमिताभ बच्चन और उनकी पत्नी जया बच्चन की प्रेम कहानी, जिसका जिक्र बिग बी ने अपने ब्लॉग में किया था। बिग बी ने लिखा था- जब मेरी शादी जया जी से तय हुई तब मैं जेवीपीडी स्कीम सोसाइटी की सातवें नंबर की सड़क पर एक किराए के घर में रहता था, जिसका नाम ‘मंगल’ था। हम दोनों की शादी किसी अतिरंजना और दिखावे भरे सेलिब्रेशन के बिना ही सादगी से ही हो गई थी। केवल दो परिवार इकट्ठा हुए और शादी हो गई। इसके बाद हम दोनों लंदन रवाना हो गए। यह लंदन की केवल मेरी ही पहली यात्रा नहीं थी, बल्कि जया भी जिंदगी में पहली बार लंदन जा रही थीं।
इससे पहले हमारी फिल्म जंजीर को अच्छी खासी सफलता मिली थी। इस दौरान हमारे दोस्तों के ग्रुप ने डिसाइड कर लिया था कि यदि यह फिल्म अच्छा प्रदर्शन करती है तो फिर हम सभी दोस्तों की गैंग लंदन शहर में छुट्टियों का लुत्फ उठाने जाएंगे। हम सब के वहां जाने की सूचना देने और अनुमति लेने के लिए मैं बाबूजी के पास गया। उन्होंने उसी वक्त प्रश्न दाग दिया- ‘तुम्हारे साथ और कौन-कौन जा रहा है।’ मैंने उन्हें वहां जाने वाले नामों की सूची गिनाई।
उनका प्रतिप्रश्न आया- ‘तुम्हारे साथ जया भी जा रही है। और तुम दोनों अकेले वहां जा रहे हो।’
मैंने जवाब दिया- ‘हां’
वे बोेले- ‘यदि तुम दोनों साथ लंदन जाना चाहते हो, तो पहले शादी करो, फिर वहां जाओ।’
मेरे मुंह से निकला- ‘ओके’
उसी समय दोनों परिवारों को और पंडितजी को सूचना दी गई। अगले दिन जल्दी-जल्दी सारे इंतजाम किए गए। उसी शादी वाले दिन रात को हमारी लंदन की फ्लाइट थी। फ्लाइट के समय से पहले ही शादी की रस्में पूरी करनी थीं। मालाबार हिल पर हमारी शादी का स्थल तय था। वहां जया की फ्रेंड्स रहती थीं और वहीं सभी रस्में की जानी थीं। मैं अपनी विवाह की पारंपरिक भारतीय पोशाक पहनकर तैयार हुआ और वहां जाने के लिए अपनी कार की ड्राइविंग सीट पर बैठ गया और खुद ही गाड़ी चलाकर जाने की तैयारी करने लगा।
यह देखकर मेरे ड्राइवर नागेश ने मुझे ड्राइविंग सीट से पकड़कर खींचा और बोला- ‘शादी की जगह तक गाड़ी चलाकर तो मैं आपको ले जाऊंगा।’ तो इस तरह वह गाड़ी ही हमारे लिए दूल्हे की बारात में चलने वाली घोड़ी का विकल्प बनी थी। जैसे ही हम शादी के रवाना होने वाले थे, तभी बूंदाबांदी शुरू हो गई। यह देखकर हमारे पास-पड़ोस वाले मेरी तरफ तरफ तेजी से दौड़कर आए और बोले- ‘बारिश अच्छा शगुन है, अब जल्दी से जाओ।’ तब हम वहां से निकले। चंद घंटों में ही हमारी शादी संपन्न हो गई और ऐसे हम घोषित तौर पर बन गए मिस्टर एंड मिसेज बच्चन!

Imtiaz Ali terminates his contract on Madhubala biopic February 13, 2020 at 06:35PM
Celebrating the day of love on Valentine’s Day, filmmaker Imtiaz Ali was to announce his next project on the release of Love Aaj Kal starring Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan. The director’s next was apparently to be a biopic on legendary actress Madhubala and the announcement was supposed to happen on February 14 which is her birth anniversary. But, even after a lot of effort, not everyone was on the same page as her sister Madhur Brij Bhushan. It is now being reported that Imtiaz Ali has terminated his contract to make the film.
Madhur Brij Bhushan, Madhubala’s sister, revealed recently she could persuade all the siblings to give NOC (Non-Objection Certificate) to Imtiaz Ali even after stating that their stories won’t be part of the film. She said that the major objection came her sister Kaneez Balsara who would not permit them. Balsara’s kids did not let Bhushan meet her. She insisted her and her kids to read the agreement but they, in return, sent notices to her and the makers of the project. After failing to persuade the family, Imtiaz Ali decided to terminate his contract citing misunderstanding. The announcement was supposed to be made today.
Madhur further said that it hurts her that they have missed out on a golden opportunity to make a biopic on Madhubala. She said that she was backing the film with her guruji Arvind Malviya as they wanted to open a school with the money generated from the film and provide free education to the poor girls.
Meanwhile, Imtiaz Ali’s latest release Love Aaj Kal hit the screens on February 14, 2020.

Ayushmann Khurrana is on a roll at the box office. After delivering seven back to back hits with content films, the star is back with Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, a quirky film that has a hilarious take on the stereotypes surrounding same-sex relationships in India. Ayushmann clears the air saying that it will be extremely incorrect to call the film a ‘serious’, ‘message film’ because it is not.
“Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is an out and out entertainer that also gives the right message. It will be incorrect to call this film a serious, message-oriented film. It is not. It is a hilarious film that’s also slapstick in parts to drive home the message of the film. It has its heart at the right place and it is not a serious film that delves any deeper,” says Ayushmann.
Ayushmann says he was instantly sold on Aanand L. Rai’s vision of making the film’s appeal wider by making it a funny movie. He says it was an extremely smart decision by Aanand Rai because the film’s core message will now reach maximum families of India.
“For me, I was sold with Aanand L. Rai sir and Hitesh’s (Kewalya) vision for this film because they wanted to make it a quintessential Bollywood movie and not approach this as a cause film. They were clear that they want to entertain the whole of India so you should expect that the film will have all the commercial elements and it’s not an in-depth look into the issue of same-sex relationships in our country from a social and cultural point of view,” the versatile star says.
Ayushmann says the film, through the story of one family, describes the taboos associated with the issue. “It should be viewed as a film that deals with the issues of one family and how they come to terms with their son being gay in the most hilarious situational circumstances,” he adds.
Helmed by Hitesh Kewalya, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan also stars Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Jitendra Kumar, Maanvi Gagroo and Manurishi Chaddha in pivotal roles. Slated to hit the screens February 21, the romantic comedy is co-produced by Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series.
