This Diwali, India and Indian cinema chains will have tons of reasons to celebrate. After having experienced a rather tough phase due to the pandemic and subsequent lockdown, most cinema chains are all set to open this month as an outcome of the unlock guidelines. Riding with the tide of new beginnings, Zee Studios and Kross Pictures are all set to release their first international release of 2020 - Peninsula on 27th November, Peninsula is the sequel to the 2016 super hit zombie film Train to Busan that was a sweeping hit worldwide.
Announced as an official Cannes Film Festival 2020 Selection, Peninsula was set to make its world premiere at the festival. Directed by Yeon Sang-ho (who also directed the prequel) and starring Gang Dong-won and Lee Jung- hyun in the lead roles. Peninsula is set 4 years after the virus outbreak in Korea as depicted in Train to Busan zombie outbreak in Korea. The sequel follows an ex-soldier who is sent along with his team to retrieve a truck full of money from the wastelands of the Korean peninsula now inhabited by zombies & rogue militia.
Talking about creating his own Zombie universe, director Yeon Sang-ho says, "I imagined what Korea would look like after the outbreak depicted in Train to Busan and what kind of scenarios would unfold. It is also the culmination of all the anticipation from fans all over the world. I wanted to tell the story of modern people who live in a rational society, and how they react to a new world enveloped in barbarism and contrasted humanism” he added.
Shariq Patel, CEO Zee Studios, added further, “Korean films have a growing fanbase in India and going by the popularity of its predecessor ‘Peninsula’ promises to top that experience. We are confident that this film will be one of the best theatrical experiences our audiences will have this year”

ड्रग्स मामले में पत्नी शबाना सईद की गिरफ्तारी के बाद प्रोड्यूसर फिरोज नाडियाडवाला का रिएक्शन सामने आया है। स्पॉटब्वॉय से बातचीत में फिरोज ने बस इतना कहा, "सच्चाई सामने आ जाएगी। अपने भाई के लिए दुआ करें।" हालांकि, इस दौरान उन्होंने ड्रग्स के आरोपों को लेकर कुछ भी नहीं कहा। लेकिन कहीं न कहीं अपने बयान में यह इशारा किया है कि उनके ऊपर लगे आरोप सही नहीं हैं।
रविवार को किया गया शबाना को गिरफ्तार
रविवार को नारकोटिक्स कंट्रोल ब्यूरो की एक टीम ने फिरोज के जुहू स्थित घर पर छापा मारा। यहां से उन्होंने करीब 10 ग्राम गांजा और तीन मोबाइल फोन जब्त किए। साथ ही शबाना को हिरासत में लेकर पूछताछ की और शाम को उन्हें गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया।
एनसीबी ने फिरोज को भी समन भेजा है और सोमवार को उन्हें पूछताछ के लिए बुलाया है। बताया जा रहा है कि फिरोज का नाम जांच एजेंसी द्वारा हिरासत में लिए गए कुछ संदिग्धों से हुई पूछताछ में सामने आया था।

सेलेब्स की मदद के लिए आगे रहते हैं
वक्त पड़ने पर फिरोज ने बॉलीवुड सेलेब्स की मदद भी बहुत की है। जब राइटर, डायरेक्टर, कॉमेडियन, एक्टर नीरज वोरा (जिनका 2017 में निधन हो गया) बीमार पड़े थे, तब वे उन्हें अपने घर ले आए थे और उनके लिए एक कमरे में अस्पताल की सारी सुविधाएं उपलब्ध करा दी थीं। उस वक्त उन्होंने अपने एक बयान में कहा था, "पैसे का क्या है? आता है, चला जाता है। रह जाते हैं अपने कर्म।"
हाल ही में फिरोज ने मीटू के आरोप में फंसे नाना पाटेकर को वेब सीरीज में कास्ट किया। इसे लेकर कई लोगों, खासकर नाना पर सेक्सुअल हैरेसमेंट का आरोप लगाने वाली तनुश्री दत्ता ने उनकी खूब आलोचना की। रिएक्शन में फिरोज ने कहा था, "भाई ऐसा है कि हम कोई नहीं होते किसी को जज करने वाले। यह काम ऊपर वाले पर छोड़ दो।"

His deal in monetary terms per film is the second highest of all time after Salman Khan, who also has a deal with Amazon prime,” a source told Bollywood Hungama, adding further that the deal took place as his deal with star network is about to reach a closure with Maidaan.
“The star network, particularly on the satellite front, made a lot of money from Ajay Devgn films, which played a significant role in pushing up his market value. While a digital deal has been locked and signed, he is on the verge of closing his satellite deal too with a leading channel, the details of which has been kept under wraps,” the source informed and also added that the deal with Amazon will have no impact on Ajay Devgn’s digital debut with a web-series, Luther, for Hotstar. “Luther is in his kitty and will take off next year, irrespective of the digital deal with Amazon.”

19 साल की कॉमेडियन सलोनी ने लॉकडाउन में घटाया 22 किलो वजन, टीवी पर गंगूबाई बनकर खूब कमा चुकीं नाम November 07, 2020 at 10:03PM
टेलीविजन पर अपनी कॉमेडी से सबको गुदगुदाने वाली चाइल्ड आर्टिस्ट सलोनी डैनी को गंगू बाई के नाम से जाना जाता है। महज 3 साल की उम्र में टीवी पर बतौर चाइल्ड आर्टिस्ट गंगू बाई के नाम से फेमस हुईं सलोनी अब 19 साल की हो गई हैं।
पिछले काफी समय से अपने वजन की वजह से उन्हें आलोचनाओं का सामना करना पड़ रहा था। सलोनी इससे काफी परेशान हो गई थीं।
लॉकडाउन में घटाया 22 किलो वजन
एक इंटरव्यू में सलोनी ने कहा, ‘मुझे सोशल मीडिया पर अपनी तस्वीरें पोस्ट करने के बाद कमेंट्स मिलते थे- भैंस लग रही है, कितनी मोटी है, कितना खाएगी, एक दिन फूट जाएगी। यह सब पढ़कर मैं हंसती थी लेकिन साथ ही मुझे काफी बुरा भी लगता था। ऐसे में मैंने अपना वजन कम करने की ठानी। मैंने लॉकडाउन के समय का इस्तेमाल करते हुए अपना 22 किलो वजन कम किया। मैंने लॉकडाउन में अपने को ट्रांसफॉर्म करने की ठानी और उसमें सक्सेसफुल भी रही।’
सलोनी ने आगे कहा कि यंग एज में सक्सेसफुल होने की वजह से वह सोशल मीडिया पर कुछ भी पोस्ट करने से पहले काफी सतर्कता बरतती हैं। सलोनी बोलीं-'मैं ऐसी इंसान हूं जो कुछ भी पोस्ट करने से पहले दस बार सोचती हूं। मैं सोचती रहती हूं कि किस एंगल से मेरी फोटो अच्छी आएगी। मुझे कई बार वजन के चलते हेट कमेंट्स का भी सामना करना पड़ा लेकिन अब मुझे सोशल मीडिया पर कुछ भी पोस्ट करने से पहले सोचना नहीं पड़ेगा।'

सलोनी ने रियलिटी शो 'कॉमेडी सर्कस महासंगम' से अपने कॉमेडी करियर की शुरुआत की थी। तब वह केवल 7 साल की थीं। इस शो में सलोनी ने 'गंगूबाई' के किरदार से लोगों को इतना हंसाया कि वह टीवी इंडस्ट्री और फैंस के बीच 'गंगूबाई' के नाम से फेमस हो गईं। सलोनी सबसे कम उम्र की कॉमेडियन बन गईं थीं।
सलोनी महज तीन साल की उम्र में एक मराठी सीरियल में नजर आई थीं। 'कॉमेडी सर्कस' के अलावा सलोनी शाहरुख खान के शो ‘क्या आप पांचवीं पास से तेज हैं’ के प्रोमो में दिखाई देकर चर्चा में आई थीं। सलोनी साल 2010 में आई फिल्म 'नो प्रोब्लम' में भी कैमियो कर चुकी हैं।
