Veteran actor Vijay Raaz was shooting for director Amit Masurkar’s Sherni in Gondia, Madhya Pradesh when the incident happened. Allegedly Raaz, who has given a slew of brilliant performances in his illustrious career, misbehaved with a female member of the unit.
Significantly no one from the film’s unit is willing to speak about the incident on record. I tried getting in touch with producer Vikram Malhotra and director Amit Masurkar. Both were evasive. In fact Malhotra wasn’t even willing to divulge the director’s name.
This is just the kind of protective cordon that grows around perpetrators of sexual misconduct in the film industry. One has seen this behaviour earlier. But it would be interesting to see where this Vijay Raaz narrative goes from here for Vidya Balan who plays the hero in Sherni. She has in the past spoken out strongly against sexual harassment at the workplace and also categorically stated she would never again work with director Sajid Khan with whom she had done Hey Baby early in her career. Khan was hit by multiple charges of sexual misconduct in 2018 after which Vidya publicly distanced herself from Khan.
With Vijay Raaz being called out for sexual misconduct would Vidya immediately opt out of the film, as it is morally correct for her to do so? There is no word from her as yet. At the moment the shooting of Sherni has been stopped in Gondia. And everyone is tight-lipped.
“We’ve been told not to say anything,” frightened technician from the Sherni crew told me.

एक्टर मॉडल मिलिंद 4 नवंबर को अपना 55वां जन्मदिन मना रहे हैं। लेकिन हमेशा की तरह उन्होंने अपने बर्थडे पर हैरान करने वाली चीज की है। मिलिंद ने सोशल मीडिया पर अपनी एक न्यूड फोटो शेयर की है और कैप्शन में लिखा है- हैप्पी बर्थडे टू मी। यह फोटो उनकी पत्नी अंकिता कुंवर ने क्लिक की। हालांकि बीच कहां का है, इसका जिक्र पोस्ट में कहीं नहीं।
वाइफ अंकिता ने लिखा स्वीट नोट
मिलिंद की वाइफ अंकिता ने भी कपल फोटो के साथ पति को बर्थडे विश करते हुए स्वीट नोट लिखा। अंकिता ने लिखा- उस इंसान को जन्मदिन मुबारक जो मेरा दिल और मेरी आत्मा है। मैं अपने होने के हर अणु के साथ तुमसे प्यार करती हूं। मैं तुम्हें हर दिन सेलिब्रेट करती हूं। 12 किमी की बीच रनिंग के बाद टमाटर की तरह लाल हो गए।
फिटनेस फ्रीक हैं मिलिंद सोमन
बात अगर बर्थडे ब्वॉय मिलिंद की करें तो वे हफ्ते में 3 या 4 बार ही रनिंग करते हैं। एक इंटरव्यू में मिलिंद ने बताया है कि वे 9 साल की उम्र में नेशनल स्विमिंग चैंपियन भी रह चुके हैं। इसके बाद वे 23 की उम्र तक स्विमिंग में एक्टिव भी रहे। स्विमिंग छोड़ने के बाद 38 साल की उम्र तक उन्होंने कोई फिजिकल एक्टिविटी नहीं की। लेकिन इससे उनके वजन पर कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ा। 19 की उम्र से लेकर आज तक उनका वजन एक जैसा ही है।
यूजर्स ने लिए जमकर मजे
फोटो देखते ही ट्रोल्स और मीमर्स एक्टिव हुए और उन्होंने मिलिंद को गिफ्ट के तौर एक से बढ़कर एक मीम्स बनाकर दिए। किसी ने उनकी मॉडलिंग के दिनों वाली न्यूड फोटो सेशन की फोटो शेयर की तो किसी ने अंडरगारमेंट्स बनाकर दिए। हालांकि इस एक्सट्राऑर्डिनरी कपल ने हमेशा की तरह इन मीमर्स और ट्रोलर्स की फिक्र नहीं की। वे दोनों खास दिन इंजॉय कर रहे हैं।

90 के दशक में 'फरेब' और 'मेहंदी' जैसी फिल्मों के एक्टर रहे फराज खान का 46 साल की उम्र में निधन हो गया है। वह पिछले काफी समय से बीमार चल रहे थे। उनके ब्रेन में इंफेक्शन हो गया था। बेंगलुरु के विक्रम अस्पताल में उनका इलाज चल रहा था। पिछले काफी समय से उनकी हालत गंभीर बनी हुई थी और वो आईसीयू वार्ड में भर्ती थे। बुधवार को फराज जिंदगी की जंग हार गए और उनकी मौत हो गई।
पूजा भट्ट ने दी जानकारी
एक्ट्रेस पूजा भट्ट ने इस बात की जानकारी देते हुए ट्विटर पर लिखा, 'भारी मन में मुझे यह बात बतानी पड़ रही है कि फराज खान अब हमेशा के लिए छोड़कर एक बेहतर जगह पर चले गए हैं। मैं उन सबका आभार जताना चाहती हूं जिन्होंने उस मुश्किल वक्त में उनकी मदद की और प्रार्थनाएं कीं जब उन्हें इसकी सबसे ज्यादा जरूरत थी। फराज के निधन से आए खालीपन को कभी कोई नहीं भर पाएगा।'
इलाज के जुटाए गए थे पैसे
पैसों की तंगी के चलते फराज के इलाज में परेशानी आ रही थी जिसके बाद उनके परिवार के सदस्यों ने एक फंडरेजिंग वेबसाइट पर मदद की गुहार लगाई थी। परिवार को फराज के इलाज के लिए 25 लाख रुपए की जरूरत थी। जिसके बाद सुपरस्टार सलमान खान भी आगे आए थे। उन्होंने फराज के मेडिकल बिल्स चुकाने के लिए परिवार को आर्थिक मदद दी थी।
मुंबई मिरर से बातचीत में फराज के छोटे भाई फहमान ने कहा था, 'हम ताउम्र सलमान खान के आभारी रहेंगे। भगवान उन्हें खुश रखे और उन्हें लंबी उम्र दें।' फराज के इलाज के लिए आलिया भट्ट की मां सोनी राजदान ने भी पैसे दिए थे।
एक साल से फराज की तबियत खराब
फंडरेजिंग वेबसाइट पर फराज की बीमारी को लेकर जानकारी दी गई थी जिसमें बताया गया था कि फराज की तबीयत पिछले एक साल से खराब चल रही थी। फराज को कफ की शिकायत थी जिसके बाद उन्हें सीने में इंफेक्शन हो गया। डॉक्टर ने उन्हें अस्पताल में भर्ती होने की सलाह दी लेकिन तब तक इंफेक्शन बहुत ज्यादा बढ़ गया था। सीने से होता हुआ हर्पीस इंफेक्शन फराज के ब्रेन तक पहुंच गया।
कैरेक्टर आर्टिस्ट युसूफ खान के बेटे हैं फराज
फराज खान गुजरे जमाने के कैरेक्टर आर्टिस्ट यूसुफ खान ('अमर अकबर एंथोनी' फेम जेबिसको) के बेटे हैं। उन्होंने रानी मुखर्जी स्टारर 'मेहंदी' (1998) में लीड रोल किया था। इसके अलावा, उन्होंने 'फरेब' (1996), 'पृथ्वी' (1997) और 'दिल ने फिर याद किया' (2001) जैसी फिल्मों में काम किया है।

Amid the nationwide lockdown that commenced in March, the film productions were halted. Some of the shoots finally resumed in August. Brahmastra duo Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had begun dubbing for this Ayan Mukerji directorial. The actors, along with Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy, returned to the sets in Mumbai on Monday, November 3.
As per a daily, Ayan Mukerji has decided to shoot songs next year as he requires to have a big scale shoot with a lot of background dancers. The team is hopeful that by next year on-ground scenario will change. Two songs will be shot in January. The 10-day schedule will wrap up this complete and then it will become 200 days of shooting. The release date will be locked once the cinemas are reopened across the country and globally, they'll plan a date.
Shah Rukh Khan has a cameo in the film who plays the role of a scientist. Amitabh Bachchan plays Ranbir Kapoor's mentor as the latter has the power to emit fire from his hand. Alia Bhatt plays his love interest. While Mouni Roy is an antagonist, Nagarjuna will play an archaeologist.

रंगोली ने 8 महीने पहले ट्वीट किया था
एक्ट्रेस की बहन और मैनेजर रंगोली चंदेल ने ट्वीट कर जावेद अख्तर पर कंगना को धमकाने का आरोप लगाया था। उन्होंने लिखा था, "जावेद अख्तर जी ने कंगना को घर बुलाया और धमकी दी कि वे रितिक रोशन से माफी मांग लें। महेश भट्ट ने कंगना पर चप्पल फेंकी थी, क्योंकि उसने भट्ट की फिल्म में सुसाइड बॉम्बर की भूमिका निभाने से इनकार कर दिया था। वे प्रधानमंत्री को फासीवादी कहते हैं....चाचाजी आप दोनों क्या हो?"

अक्टूबर में कर्नाटक के तुमकुर में कंगना के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज हुआ था। उन पर किसानों के अपमान का आरोप लगा था। इसके बाद इसके बाद मुंबई में 2 केस हुए। इनमें कंगना पर धर्म के आधार पर नफरत फैलाने और अदालत का अपमान करने का आरोप लगा था। अब यह चौथा केस है। वहीं मुंबई पुलिस ने उन्हें समन भेजा है। लेकिन इन दिनों कंगना अपने भाई की शादी की रस्में निभा रही हैं।
