बॉलीवुड डेस्क. अमेरिका से आने के बाद अनुपम खेर इन दिनों सेल्फ क्वैरेंटाइन में वक्त बिता रहे हैं और सोशल मीडिया के जरिए अपने फैंस से जुड़े हुए हैं। गुरुवार सुबह को उन्होंने अपने इंस्टाग्राम अकाउंट पर एक फनी पोस्ट करते हुए यूजर्स से उनकी राय पूछी। उन्होंने अपने कुछ फोटोज शेयर किएऔर फैंस से ये जानना चाहा कि कौन सा हेयरस्टाइल उन पर ज्यादा फिट बैठेगा।

फोटोज के साथ अनुपम ने लिखा- 'मुझे लग रहा है कि इस सेल्फ क्वैरेंटाइन और लॉकडाउन समय के दौरान मेरे बाल बढ़ सकते हैं। अगर ऐसा होता है तो आपको क्या लगता है, कौन सा हेयर स्टाइल मुझ पर ज्यादा अच्छा लगता। देखो हंसो मत, ये एक गंभीर मामला है। वैसे तो सभी स्टाइल अच्छे लग रहे हैं, लेकिन फिर भी। #सेल्फक्वैरेंटाइन के साइड इफेक्ट #कुछ भी हो सकता है'

A stickler for authentic historic dramas, Dr. Dwiwedi is especially particular about the spoken dialogues in his cinema. For this purpose, he has got a special dialogue coach on board for Akshay Kumar. It may be noted that dialogue delivery has never been one of Akshay’s strong attributes as an actor. So far his stardom and his ability to seem convincing in every role have seen him through.

Not this time! Says a source in the know, “Both Aditya Chopra and director Chandraprakash Dwiwedi felt Akshay needed to work on the dialogues to make the character look fully credible, and Akshay agreed to do so for the first time.”

No wonder the soothsayers are already predicting a National award for Akshay Kumar.

एंटरटेनमेंट डेस्क. गुजरे जमाने की एक्ट्रेस निम्मी का 88 साल की उम्र में निधन हो गया है। आगरा में नवाब बानो के नाम से जन्मी निम्मी ने यूं तो कई सफल फिल्मों में काम किया था। लेकिन एक गलती के चलते उनका पूरा करियर बर्बाद हो गया। यह किस्सा 1963 की फिल्म 'मेरे महबूब' से जुड़ा हुआ है। कहा जाता है कि इस फिल्म के लिए उन्होंने लीड रोल की बजाय सेकंड लीड रोल चुना था और उनका यही फैसला उनके करियर के लिए अभिशाप बन गया।

One of Bollywood’s most prestigious film production companies Fox Star India has been facing financial setbacks in 2020. First Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak and then Ashwini Iyer Tiwari’s Panga have both underperformed severely at the box office. And now with Coronavirus playing havoc with the schedules and budget, we hear Fox Star India had pulled out of its collaboration with Karan Johar for the lavish costume drama Takht.

Sources in the know say this could be the beginning of the end of Karan Johar’s collaboration with Fox Star. Johar and Fox Star have collaborated on several successful and not-so-successfulprojects during the past 10 years. But now with Fox Star’s CEO Vijay Singh putting in his papers, the studio is re-examining its long-standing association with Karan Johar and Dharma Productions.

The first casualty of this re-assessment is Takht which was meant to be the most expensive Dharma-Fox collaboration of all times. But then, God and Coronavirus had other plans.

बॉलीवुड डेस्क. बॉलीवुड एक्ट्रेस निम्मी का निधन हो गया है। वे 88 साल की थीं। बुधवार शाम उन्होंने मुंबई स्थित घर में ही अंतिम सांस ली। रिपोर्ट्स की मानें तो निम्मी लंबे समय से बीमार थीं। एक्ट्रेस के निधन पर बॉलीवुड के कई सेलेब्स ने शोक जताया है। ऋषि कपूर ने उन्हें याद करते हुए लिखा है, "भगवान आत्मा को शांति दे। शुक्रिया निम्मी आंटी 'बॉबी' के प्रीमियर पर शुभकामनाएं और प्यार देने के लिए। आप आरके (राज कपूर) परिवार का हिस्सा रही हैं। 'बरसात' आपकी पहली फिल्म थी। अल्लाह आपको जन्नत नसीब करे। आमीन।"

इसी तरह महेश भट्ट ने लिखा है, "आप अपनी इच्छा से अपने दिल को जीत सकते हैं, लेकिन अंत में मौत से धोखा खा जाते हैं। अलविदा निम्मी। गुजरे जमाने की एक्ट्रेस निम्मी का 88 की उम्र में निधन।"

दिव्या दत्ता ने निम्मी को श्रद्धांजलि देते हुए लिखा है, "आपकी आत्मा को शांति मिले निम्मी जी। आप अपनी मुस्कराहट और जादूभरी निगाहों से पर्दे पर आग लगा देती थीं। 'अमर', 'उड़न खटोला', 'आन' आपकी कुछ यादगार फिल्में हैं।"

जावेद जाफरी ने निम्मी के साथ वाली अपनी पुरानी फोटो शेयर करते हुए लिखा है, "कुछ साल पहले मुझे चार क्लासिक बॉलीवुड ब्यूटीज के साथ फ्रेम साझा करने का मौका मिला था। बाएं से अर्ज़ा, निम्मी, कुमकुम, अमीता। निम्मी आंटी के निधन पर इसकी याद आ गई।"

50-60 के दशक की चर्चित एक्ट्रेस
निम्मी 50 और 60 के दशक में बॉलीवुड की चर्चित अभिनेत्रियों में से एक थीं। राज कपूर ने उन्हें अपनी फिल्म 'बरसात'(1949) से ब्रेक दिया था। उन्होंने ही उनका नाम नवाब बानो से बदलकर निम्मी रखा था। उन्होंने 'बरसात' के अलावा 'आन', 'कुंदन', 'मेरे महबूब' और 'पूजा के फूल' जैसी फिल्मों में भी काम किया था। 2007 में उनके पति अली रजा का निधन हो गया था, जो राइटर थे।
