On June 29, Disney+ Hotstar announced a slate of films that will be releasing on their digital streaming platform in their new section Disney+ Hotstar Multiplex. One of the films to premiere is Mahesh Bhatt's Sadak 2 starring Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Pooja Bhatt. Today, on August 6, Alia announced that the film will premiere on August 28.

If you were an actor right now, would you want to return to the camera with a huge-canvas song-and-dance sequence featuring 200 chorus dancers? That’s what the lead actors Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji are in for when they return to the shooting of Bunty Aur Babli 2 at the start of August.
Sources inform that producer Aditya Chopra has planned an elaborate choreographic confection with profusion of chorus dancers. And Saif and Rani are not okay with that. Informs a source, “They’ve already expressed their unhappiness with being put in such a heavy crowd during these times of corona contagion. Of course Aditya Chopra will be taking every possible precaution. But Saif and Rani would rather have the song situation scaled down, since scrapping it is not possible, as it comes at an essential juncture in the story.”
Since the heroine of Bunty Aur Babli 2 also happens to be the producer’s wife, convincing Aditya Chopra to change the choreographic scale should not be difficult.

Bobby Deol starrer Class Of ’83 to premiere on August 21 on Netflix August 05, 2020 at 06:33PM
Bobby Deol is heading to OTT with two upcoming projects. One of them is Class Of ’83 which is produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
Along with a new poster, Netflix has announced that the film will be premiered on the streaming giant on August 21, 2020. Bobby stars as Dean Vijay Singh in the upcoming production.
Talking about his character, Bobby Deol, said “I love the sheer variety of content a digital medium like Netflix has to offer and it’s truly encouraging to know that your work can reach so many people across the world. The 80s was a fascinating period in Mumbai’s history and this film allowed me to live and feel that era all over again. When Atul (director) & Red Chillies Entertainment approached me, I was drawn by the intensity and depth of the character and knew right away that I had to be part of Class Of ‘83. It’s my first attempt on digital and it also happens to be the first film by RCE and Netflix together. It's an exciting and challenging time to be an actor and I am super excited that everyone gets to see the trailer tomorrow and the film on 21 August.”
Class Of ’83 stars Bobby Deol, Bhupendra Jadawat, Hitesh Bhojraj, and Annup Sonii. The film is a story of a hero policeman shunted to a punishment posting as the Dean of the police academy decides to punish the corrupt bureaucracy and its criminal allies in return by training five lethal assassin policemen. But, like all good plans, it only works for a while until the fire that he has ignited threatens to burn his own house down.

There's been an immense amount of reports claiming that the death of Disha Salian is linked to Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise. On Wednesday, August 5, Mumbai Police issued a press release asking anyone with information to come forward and help in the investigation.
Disha Salian's father Satish Salian wrote a letter to Mumbai Police on August 5 claiming that false media reports are being circulated regarding his daughter's death. In his letter, he said that the journalists are arriving at his house to interview them and are mentally harassing them. He denounced reports stating about Disha's rape and murder. In addition, he said that these claims are maligning his daughter's image.
Satish Salian's letter:
"Subject: Mental harassment and consequent victimization of my family and deceased daughter Disha Salian by journalists and media people
Sir,
I am writing this to you as my family has been continuously harassed by journalists and media people in relation to the death of my daughter Disha Salian. In light of the above unfortunate incident and circumstances, I had already submitted a written complaint in Malvani Police Station & ACP's office vide letter dated: 13/07/2020 against derogatory posts and forwards being shared by the listed people in the said letter, leading to defamation of my deceased daughter and my family.
In addition to the said letter, I would like to bring to your attention, the atrocities of journalists and media people on my family.
The media people come unannounced at my house hiding their original brand in the name of interviews regarding the death of my daughter. They are providing the media with misleading news which are not only creating hindrance to the actual inquiry being conducted, but it's also taking a toll on my family.
We are being harassed by these people by repeatedly questioning our faith in Mumbai Police and their way of inquiries are conducted. We have already given our statement to the police that we do not suspect anyone of foul play.
News about her involvement with any politician or attending parties with big names of film fraternity, rape, murder are all the stories cooked by these media people just to sell it to channels. These stories hold no truth. These are misleading the people and tarnishing my daughter's reputation and my family's reputation. These fake news are taking a huge toll on my family's health and we are being victimized by the media. We are completely satisfied with the investigations being conducted by Mumbai Police and have faith in them.
Through this letter. I would request you to take reasonable action against the concerned journalists, influencers, politicians, and media for their insensitive act towards us."
Disha Salian jumped off a building on June 9 at 2 am after she was at a party at her fiancé’s residence in Malwani. The delay in her post-mortem raised some questions.

Rubbishing one of these claims that the actor was lying about not knowing Disha Salian, he took to Instagram to call out such reports as fake news. The news report claimed he posed with Disha at a party along with Athiya Shetty and others.
However, Sooraj clarified that girl in the picture is his friend and not Salian. He wrote, "Complete bullshit!! #FuckYouFakeMEDIA. Is this the media we are supposed to trust?? That girl in the picture which was clicked in 2016 is not “Disha Salian” that is my friend @agaur21 (Anushri Gaur) who doesn’t even live in India. Please stop brainwashing people and PLEASE stop harassing me and dragging me into this! Start being responsible of your actions as it can ruin someone’s life! Disha Salian's parents have even filed a complaint with Mumbai Police on being constantly harassed by media for interviews over the death of their daughter.

अभिनेता सुशांत सिंह राजपूत की मौत के मामले में केंद्र सरकार ने अधिसूचना जारी कर दी है। जिसके बाद आज सीबीआई इस मामले में अपनी ओर से एफआईआर दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर सकती है। सीबीआई की टीम आज बिहार पुलिस से इस मामले से जुड़ी डिटेल ले सकती है। इस बीच मंगलवार को सुप्रीम कोर्ट में एक पीआईएल दायर कर सुशांत की पूर्व मैनेजर दिशा सालियन की मौत की जांच भी सीबीआई से कराने का निर्देश देने की बात कही गई।
प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) ने मुंबई स्थित अपने दफ्तर में मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग मामले में सुशांत के घर के मैनेजर सैमुअल मिरांडा से पूछताछ की है। इस मामले में अभिनेत्री रिया चक्रवर्ती को भी समन किया गया है। उनसे शुक्रवार को पूछताछ हो सकती है।
बिहार के डीजीपी का बीएमसी पर निशाना
इस बीच पटना के एसपी विनय तिवारी को क्वारैंटाइन किए जाने के मुद्दे पर बिहार के डीजीपी गुप्तेश्वर पांडेय ने ट्वीट कर बीएमसी पर फिर निशाना साधा है। उन्होंने लिखा है,"माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय द्वारा ये गम्भीर टिप्पणी की गयी है कि बिहार के आईपीएस विनय तिवारी को मुंबई में जबरदस्ती क्वारंटाइन किया जाना गलत है फिर भी बीएमसी ने उन्हें अभी तक उन्हें मुक्त नहीं किया है। वे सुप्रीम कोर्ट की भी परवाह नहीं करते! अब इसको आप क्या कहेंगे? अफसोस!"
दिशा मामले में याचिकाकर्ता की यह है डिमांड
याचिका में दोनों मामलों के एक-दूसरे से जुड़ा होने का हवाला दिया गया है। वकील विनीत ढांडा द्वारा दायर की गई याचिका में मुंबई पुलिस को सालियन के मामले में विस्तृत जांच रिपोर्ट रिकॉर्ड रखने का निर्देश देने की मांग की गई है। मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स का हवाला देते हुए कहा गया है कि उनकी केस फाइल गायब है या डिलीट कर दी गई है।
ढांडा ने शीर्ष अदालत से आग्रह किया कि रिपोर्ट मांगी जाए और संतुष्ट नहीं होने पर इस मामले को आगे की जांच के लिए केंद्रीय जांच ब्यूरो को भेजा जा सकता है। मुंबई के मलाड पश्चिम में एक आवासीय इमारत (रीजेंट गैलेक्सी) की 14वीं मंजिल से गिरने के बाद आठ जून को दिशा सालियन की मौत हो गई थी। याचिका में कहा गया कि “इसके एक हफ्ते बाद, 14 जून की सुबह, सुशांत सिंह राजपूत ने कथित तौर पर आत्महत्या कर ली, जो संदेह पैदा करता है।"
याचिका में तर्क दिया गया कि बिहार पुलिस ने फोल्डर को पुन: प्राप्त करने में मदद करने की पेशकश की, लेकिन अधिकारियों को लैपटॉप का उपयोग करने की अनुमति नहीं दी गई। याचिकाकर्ता ने तर्क दिया कि वर्तमान स्थिति में सलियन और सुशांत सिंह की मौत की सीबीआई जांच आवश्यक है।
दिशा के पिता ने कहा-किसी पार्टी में शामिल नहीं हुई थी दिशा
इस बीच मंगलवार को दिशा सालियान के पिता ने मुंबई पुलिस से शिकायत की है। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया है कि उनकी बेटी दिशा को बदनाम करने की साजिश हो रही है। अपनी शिकायत में उन्होंने ये भी कहा कि दिशा ने किसी तरह की पार्टी में शामिल नहीं हुई थीं और न ही उनके साथ दुष्कर्म हुआ था।
सोशल मीडिया में लिखी जा रही बातों को लेकर की शिकायत
दिशा सालियान के पिता ने अपनी शिकायत में कहा कि कुछ लोग उनकी बेटी के बारे में सोशल मीडिया पर गलत बातें लिख रहे हैं। उनकी बेटी नेताओं के साथ किसी पार्टी में शामिल नहीं हुई थी। न ही उसके साथ रेप हुआ और न ही उसकी किसी ने हत्या की। दिशा के पिता कहा कि उन्हें मुंबई पुलिस की जांच पर पूरा भरोसा है। दिशा के पिता फेक खबर फैलाने वालों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग की है।
पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट में खुलासा
दिशा सालियान की फाइनल रिपोर्ट में खुलासा हुआ है कि दिशा की मौत सिर में चोट लगने और कुछ अप्राकृतिक चोटों की वजह से हुई है। दिशा की मौत का मुख्य कारण डॉक्टरों ने दिशा का बिल्डिंग की 14वीं मंजिल से गिरना इंगित किया है।
नारायण राणे ने लगाए थे आरोप
भाजपा के सांसद नारायण राणे ने आरोप लगाया था कि दिशा के साथ पहले दुष्कर्म किया गया और उसके बाद उनकी हत्या की गई है। उन्होंने ऑटोप्सी रिपोर्ट का हवाला देते हुए कहा था कि दिशा के जननांगों पर चोट के निशान हैं। हालांकि, पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट में ऐसी कोई बात सामने नहीं आई है।
