In November, it was learnt that filmmaker Shashank Khaitan found his next lead actors in Varun Dhawan, Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani for a quirky entertainer. Varun, who previously worked with Shashank in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania, is collaborating with him for the third time. Their project Rannbhoomi – the period drama which is put on hold.
Now, this entertainer seems to have received a title. If reports are anything to go by, the film is reportedly titled Mr Lele. The film is something the trio has never done before and it is out and out entertainer. They are currently prepping for the film and it might go on the floor either at the end of February or the beginning of March 2020.
Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan is working on comic caper Coolie No 1 with David Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan which is scheduled for May 1, 2020. Bhumi Pednekar has a couple of films lined up starting with Pati Patni Aur Woh followed by Takht, Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare. Kiara Advani, on the other hand, is starring in Good Newwz which is due on December 27.

बॉलीवुड डेस्क.‘द कपिल शर्मा शो’ इस हफ्ते अपने 100 एपिसोड्स पूरे करने जा रहा है और इस मौके पर बॉलीवुड सेलेब्स - सलमान खान, सोनाक्षी सिन्हा, प्रभु देवा, साईं मांजरेकर, सुदीप किच्चा और अरबाज खान अपनी आगामी फिल्म 'दबंग 3' को प्रमोट करते नजर आएंगे। इस खास एपिसोड में सलमान हाल ही में रिलीज हुआ अपना पॉपुलर गाना ‘मुन्ना बदनाम हुआ’ पर झूमते दिखेंगे।
कपिल ने जब इस गाने का टाइटल सुना, तो उन्होंने पूछा कि यह गाना कैसे बना। इस बारे में अरबाज बताते हैं, “हम दबंग 3 के लिए, दबंग के गाने ‘मुन्नी बदनाम हुई’ और दबंग 2 के ‘फेविकॉल’ जैसा ही कोई आइटम सॉन्ग ढूंढ रहे थे। दरअसल, हम दबंग 3 में मुन्नी बदनाम का तोड़ तलाश रहे थे। तभी सलमान ने रात के 1.30 बजे मुझे फोन करके तुरंत मिलने को कहा। उन्होंने कहा कि उन्हें ‘मुन्नी बदनाम’ का एक परफेक्ट तोड़ मिल गया है।”
अरबाज के साथ एक घंटे तक चर्चा करने के बाद सलमान ने आखिर अपने इस मास्टरपीस का खुलासा किया। अरबाज आगे बताते हैं, “सलमान ने कहा कि ‘मुन्ना बदनाम’ एक परफेक्ट सॉन्ग है और हमें इसे करना चाहिए। शुरुआत में तो मुझे इस आइडिया पर आपत्ति थी और मेरा कहना था कि हम कुछ और सोच सकते हैं और पुराने गाने को ही संवारने से अच्छा हम कुछ ओरिजिनल बना सकते हैं लेकिन सलमान इसे करना चाहते थे।"
अरबाज आगे बताते हैं, “जब सलमान ने मुझसे वादा किया कि वो फिल्म में इस गाने को तभी रखेंगे, जब यह अच्छा बन पड़ेगा, उसके बाद ही मैं इस टाइटल के लिए राजी हुआ। हमने यह आइडिया ललित जी को सुनाया क्योंकि उन्होंने मुन्नी बदनाम हुई बनाया था। इसके दूसरे ऑप्शन के लिए साजिद-वाजिद को भी मौका दिया गया था। दोनों ही गाने बढ़िया बन पड़े थे लेकिन अंत में साजिद-वाजिद के गाने को फिल्म के लिए चुना गया। दबंग 1 में ‘मुन्नी बदनाम’, दबंग 2 में ‘फेविकॉल’ और अब दबंग 3 के लिए ‘मुन्ना बदनाम’ एकदम परफेक्ट रहा।”

Eager to explore new platforms, several Bollywood actors have tried their hand at audiobooks and shows. Tabu, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Anurag Kashyap are the latest stars to jump on the bandwagon with Thriller Factory, a show created by the director for Audible Suno.
Tabu, who has lent her voice to a gangster drama titled Kala Gulab, says it was the challenge of narrating a tale without the aid of visuals that prompted her to come on board. "We all have grown up listening to fairy tales from our elders. The power of stories has always intrigued me as has the [role of] voice in making it interesting." She believes the medium offers more creative freedom to artistes. "When you are in front of the camera, you have to act in a particular way or follow the director's vision. With the audio format, you can say the same thing in different ways," shares Tabu, before quipping, "We also don't have to care about hair and make-up, which is a relief!"
Kashyap states that the power of the audio medium is best reflected in his life. "I grew up in a small town where there were no cinema halls. So I had heard Sholay [1975] through songs and dialogues before I watched it," he recounts, before adding, "The biggest high of attempting this medium is that it is free of censorship."

Panipat makers succumb amid protests in Rajasthan December 13, 2019 at 07:15AM

Amid protests by Jat groups, the producers of Ashutosh Gowariker's historical drama "Panipat" have agreed to edit out the portion of the film, a senior state government official said here. "The film distributor has communicated to us that the film producers would be editing certain portion of the film," additional chief secretary (home) Rajeeva Swarup told PTI on Wednesday.
He said that the producers would move the edited version of the film to censor board. When contacted, a source close to the makers said, "We have deleted the scenes related to Maharaja Surajmal ji. Also, we have got the censor certificate with 11 minutes less length." The state government had sought the response from the film producers through its distributor following a representation from Jat leaders against the film on Monday.
The film's screening has been discontinued at most of the cinema halls in the state due to the protests. A cinema hall was also vandalised here by protestors on Monday. Tourism minister Vishvendra Singh, education minister Govind Singh Dotasara, former chief minister Vasundhara Raje had criticised the film's portrayal of Bharatpur's Maharaja Surajmal.
Chief minister Ashok Gehlot had also said that the censor should take note of the reactions against the portrayal of Surajmal, who is shown as having denied help to the Maratha army during the third battle of Panipat that was fought between the Marathas and Afghan king Ahmad Shah Abdali in 1761. Arjun Kapoor plays the role of Sadashiv Rao Bhau, commander of the Maratha army in the film.
Historical drama "Padmaavat" had also faced protests in Rajasthan and other northern states over the portrayal of Rajput queen Padmini.

बॉलीवुड डेस्क. करीना कपूर ने शो 'व्हाट वीमेन वांट' के दूसरे सीजन के साथ रेडियो पर वापसी कर ली है। इस सीजन की पहली मेहमान उनकी सास और दिग्गज अभिनेत्री शर्मिला टैगोर बनीं। इस दौरान करीना ने शर्मिला से पूछा कि बेटी और बहू में क्या अंतर होता है? इस पर उन्होंने बहुत ही खूबसूरत और दिल जीतने वाला जवाब दिया।
बहू को सहज महसूस कराने की जरूरत
शर्मिला ने कहा, "बेटी वह है, जो आपकी आंखों के सामने बड़ी होती है। इसलिए आप उसके स्वभाव को जानते हैं कि वह किस बात से नाराज हो सकती है। उससे किस तरह बात करना है। जब आप अपनी बहू से मिलते हैं तो वह पहले से ही युवा होती है। इसलिए आप उसके स्वभाव के बारे में नहीं जानते। इसलिए घुलने-मिलने में समय लगता है। एक नई लड़की, आपकी बहू जब घर आती है तो जरूरी है कि उसका स्वागत करें और उसे ज्यादा सहज महसूस कराएं।"
अपनी शादी का अनुभव साझा किया
शर्मिला ने आगे अपनी शादी का अनुभव शेयर करते हुए कहा, "मुझे अपनी शादी के बारे में याद है। मैं बंगाली हूं और मुझे चावल पसंद है और वे रोटी-फुल्का खाने वाले लोग ठहरे। मुझे अपनी मछली पसंद थी और टाइगर (मंसूर अली खान पटौदी शर्मिला के पति) को यह बिल्कुल पसंद नहीं थी। कुछ इस तरह का समायोजन था। ये बहुत छोटे लगते हैं, लेकिन लम्बे समय के लिए वाकई ऐसे नहीं हैं।"
बेटे-बहू के रिश्ते में दखलंदाजी न करें
शर्मिला के मुताबिक, यह लड़के वालों की जिम्मेदारी है कि वे नई लड़की को सहज महसूस कराएं और उनके रिश्ते में ज्यादा दखलंदाजी न करें। बकौल एक्ट्रेस, "अगर मैं कहती हूं- 'जब मेरा बेटा छोटा था तो उसे यह पसंद था और यह उसकी पसंदीदा डिश थी...।' इस तरह का दिखावा बंद किया जा सकता है। उनके रिश्ते को अपने हाथ में लेने की कोशिश करने की बजाय उसे आगे बढ़ने देना चाहिए।"

एक घंटे तक दोनों भाइयों के बीच हुई बात
