बॉलीवुड डेस्क (अमित कर्ण). देश में चल रहे सीएए-एनआरसी विवाद के बीच भारत सरकार बांग्लादेश को एक महत्वाकांक्षी फिल्म प्रोजेक्ट बनवाने में मदद कर रही है। यह बांग्लादेश के जनक शेख मुजीबुर्रहमान की बायोपिक है। इसे एनएफडीसी और सूचना व प्रसारण मंत्रालय मिलकर फंड कर रहा है। माना जा रहा है कि इस फिल्म का बजट 60 करोड़ का होगा। ‘बंग बंधु’ टाइटल्ड इस फिल्म को पहले भारत सरकार पूरा फंड कर रही थी पर बांग्लादेशी हुकूमत ने कहा कि इसे जॉइंट वेंचर में बनाया जाए।
बांग्लादेश में चल रही कास्टिंग
एनएफडीसी से जुड़े सूत्रों की मानें तो इन दिनों बांग्लादेश में इस फिल्म की कास्टिंग का काम चल रहा है। यह वहां के फिल्म डेवलपमेंट कॉरपोरेशन के साथ मिलकर किया जा रहा है। फिल्म को प्रख्यात फिल्मकार श्याम बेनेगल डायरेक्ट करेंगे। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि शेख हसीना को श्याम बेनेगल की 2003 में आई ‘नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस: द फॉरगॉटन हीरो’ बहुत अच्छी लगी थी। उन्हें महसूस हुआ कि ‘बंग बंधु’ की कहानी के साथ श्याम बेनेगल न्याय कर सकेंगे।
फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ और खास बातें
- फिल्म के लिए मेन लीड की कास्टिंग बांग्लादेश से हो रही है। याहिया खान, मोहम्मद अली जिन्ना और खुशवंत सिंह जैसे कलाकारों की कास्टिंग इंडिया से होगी।
- बांग्लादेशी फिल्मों के इतिहास में ‘बंग बंधु’ सबसे महंगी फिल्म होगी। फिल्म में 1971 के वॉर सीक्वेंसेज होंगे। तब की आर्मी, चॉपर, सिपाहियों की भीड़, संसद से पीरियड क्रिएट किया जाएगा।

While Rishi Kapoor continues to deny a health relapse, sources close to the family confirm that the dreaded disease for which he was treated in New York last year, has indeed returned.
Rishi suddenly was ill in Delhi last week. He was soon discharged and he gave defiant press statements stating it was just an infection caused by Delhi’s infamous pollution. But now, he’s back in hospital, this time in Mumbai. And the diagnosis is not encouraging.
Sources close to the Kapoor family say Rishi is in denial. “He’s just being stubborn. This is adding to the family’s growing anxiety. Before a treatment procedural is decided on, he must accept that he’s unwell. Unfortunately, like the first time when the disease struck, he is not willing to accept the truth.”
This sudden unfortunate turn of circumstances has put a question mark on Rishi’s son Ranbir’s marriage to Alia Bhatt. The family was getting ready for the wedding this year. But now with this sudden setback, the entire family’s concentration will be on Rishi Kapoor’s health.

Sajid Nadiadwala said that they found her to be the right fit for the film after having worked with her in Housefull 4. He said that she has an amazing screen presence and will make a good pair with Salman. He added that she will bring freshness to the story.
Salman Khan will be presented in a new avatar and Pooja Hegde's character will hail from a small town who is polar opposite to Salman's character. It will be a beautiful mature love story as Pooja will act as a catalyst to the storyline. The two of them will undergo several workshops before the schedule begins in October this year.
Directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali will release on Eid 2021.
