'मैंने प्यार किया' में फराज खान को रिप्लेस करने वाले सलमान खान कठिन समय में उनकी मदद के लिए आगे आए हैं। उन्होंने बेंगलुरु के विक्रम हॉस्पिटल में गंभीर हालत में भर्ती फिल्म 'मेहंदी' के अभिनेता के सभी मेडिकल बिलों का भुगतान करने का फैसला लिया है। यह दावा कॉमेडियन कृष्णा अभिषेक की पत्नी और सलमान के साथ 'दुल्हन हम ले जाएंगे' और 'कहीं प्यार न हो जाए' जैसी फिल्मों में काम कर चुकीं कश्मीरा शाह ने सोशल मीडिया पर किया है।

कश्मीरा ने सलमान खान की एक फोटो शेयर करते हुए अपनी पोस्ट में लिखा है- आप वाकई महान इंसान हैं। फराज खान और उनके मेडिकल बिल का ख्याल रखने के लिए शुक्रिया। 'फरेब' के एक्टर फराज खान क्रिटिकल कंडीशन में हैं और सलमान खान उनके साथ खड़े हैं और कई अन्य लोगों की तरह उनकी भी मदद कर रहे हैं।

परिवार ने मांगी थी आर्थिक मदद

बुधवार को फराज के फैमिली मेंबर्स ने एक फंड राइजिंग वेबसाइट के जरिए लोगों से आर्थिक मदद मांगी थी। उन्होंने अपनी पोस्ट में लिखा था कि 8 अक्टूबर को तबियत बिगड़ने के बाद फराज को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था।

डॉक्टर्स के मुताबिक, फराज के दिमाग में इन्फेक्शन हुआ है, जिसके इलाज के लिए उन्हें 7-10 दिन आईसीयू में रखना होगा, जिसका खर्च करीब 25 लाख रुपए आएगा। परिवार ने यह हवाला भी दिया था कि लंबे समय से फिल्मों से दूरी के के चलते फराज के लिए 25 लाख की रकम जुटाना मुश्किल है। (पढ़ें पूरी खबर)

Soon after, we revealed that the comedy film in question is an adaptation of Gulzaar’s cult comedy, Angoor and will feature Ranveer Singh in a double role. And now, we have exclusively discovered that Rohit has locked two female leads in this father of all entertainers in Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez.

“It’s a double dhamaka of Ranveer, and both the actresses will be paired alongside the actor. Their track plays an important thread in building the confusion, which eventually brings the house down with laughter. It will be a first time collaboration for the two ladies with Ranveer. It’s an outstanding well written role for both the girls,” a source told Bollywood Hungama exclusively.

In 2018, Ranveer Singh teamed up with Rohit Shetty for the first time on Simmba, and it proved to be a blockbuster at the box-office with collections a little under Rs. 250 crore. With the cop drama, the actor made an entry into the Rohit  Shetty cop-universe and will next be seen in an extended cameo in the film of the cop franchise, the Akshay Kumar starring Sooryavanshi , which also has Ajay Devgn in a pivotal role.

“After back to back cop films in Simmba and Sooryavanshi, Rohit was on the lookout to step out of the serious zone and do a comedy. He had this idea of making something on the lines of Angoor for a while now, and took time in the lockdown to develop the screenplay. The script demanded an actor with energetic screen presence like Ranveer Singh, and it was an instant yes from the actor for the film,” the source further told Bollywood Hungama.

Apart from the yet untitled comedy, Rohit has also cracked the idea of Golmaal 5 to take the Golmaal Franchise forward with Ajay Devgn in the lead.

यह किसी ने नहीं सोचा था कि मैं एक साल तक काम नहीं करूंगा। कोई इस तरह से प्लान नहीं करता। जब तक कि आप कोई अरबपति न हों। इसलिए कोई चॉइस नहीं है। मेरे खाते में सिर्फ 18 हजार रुपए बचे हैं।

As the rest of the industry is slowly getting back to its feet following the nationwide lockdown, filmmakers Abhishek Kapoor and Pragya Kapoor have flown to Chandigarh to kick-start the first schedule of their untitled next. The love story will star Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor where the former will be seen playing a cross-functional athlete.

In Pragya’s words, the shoot for the film will begin this weekend. She believes that it’s a difficult time for everyone but the ball needs to be set rolling by adapting to the new normal. “2020 has indeed been a year that pushes all of us to our very extremes. But I feel this project came as a blessing to all of us. We were all itching to get out and have our creative juices flowing. The team is excited and the mood is upbeat. We are feeling blessed and grateful to have the opportunity to work. After a long stint filled with uncertainties, we finally look ahead with hope,” she says.

She, however, adds that adhering to the Covid-19 guidelines while shooting is imperative. She says, “It’s not easy to have a locked plan during such uncertain times. The aim is to take one day at a time and make sure everyone is safe while achieving a creative vision.”

Pragya shares that the lead pair is pepped up to resume work. She says, “Both Ayushmann and Vaani have been extremely supportive. They have put their trust in us to make sure they are safe and we are taking every precautionary measure to keep our ship safe. We are all equally excited to get back on set.”

So what are the necessary precautions they are taking to ensure the safety of the entire unit? “Just like our films, we have a villain in our story in the form of this pandemic. To combat this, we've been taking endless precautions, like getting the whole team tested at every stage, putting a stringent SOP in place to ensure the well-being of everyone involved, functioning with a leaner team, pulling off a majority of our prep online,” she says, adding, “The challenges we're facing are definitely unprecedented and unlike anything we've experienced before but we believe in this story and feel encouraged to try our best to rise against all odds to bring this baby to life.”

The film will be directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced under the banners of Guy In The Sky Pictures and T-Series.

तीन भाषाओं में रिलीज होगी 'थलाइवी'

'थलाइवी' तमिलनाडु की पूर्व सीएम जे. जयललिता की बायोग्राफिकल फिल्म है, जिसे हिंदी, तमिल और तेलुगू भाषा में रिलीज किया जाएगा। ए. एल विजय के निर्देशन में बनी फिल्म पहले 26 जून को रिलीज होने वाली थी। लेकिन लॉकडाउन के चलते 7 महीने तक इसकी शूटिंग नहीं हो सकी। इसके चलते रिलीज डेट आगे बढ़ानी पड़ी। 4 अक्टूबर को कंगना ने दोबारा फिल्म की शूटिंग शुरू की थी।

डिजिटली रिलीज का खंडन कर चुकीं कंगना

बीच में ऐसे कयास भी लगाए जाने लगे थे कि 'थलाइवी' ओटीटी प्लेटफॉर्म पर रिलीज हो सकती है। हालांकि, कंगना ने इसका खंडन किया था। उन्होंने एक इंटरव्यू में कहा था, "थलाइवी डिजिटली रिलीज नहीं हो सकती है। क्योंकि ये एक बड़े स्तर की फिल्म है।"

Ever since the lockdown commenced in March due to the coronavirus pandemic, theatres have been shut down. Last week, it was announced that cinema halls will open in the country. While some states will continue with the shutdown, the Unlock 5.0 guidelines by the Home Ministry revealed that cinema halls can operate at 50 % capacity starting October 15. The MHA released the new set of guidelines. A standard operating procedure (SOP) will be issued by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for the same.

Since theatres will open up, filmmakers are planning to re-release some of the films. Ajay Devgn and Kajol's Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior, Taapsee Pannu's Thappad, Aditya Roy Kapur - Disha Patani's Malang, Ayushmann Khurrana's Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, War starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, and late Sushant Singh Rajput's Kedarnath will be the first five films to return to the theatres.

More movie announcements will be made soon as they return to theatres.

There are rumours of Kannada superstar Yash having finalized the release date of KGF 2. The reports state that the film will open for Makar Sakranti on January 14, 2021.

However, when I approached a source very close to the project he said, “There is no release date right now. We are now focusing on completing the film. Once we’re done and we have a clearer picture of the theatre business after it resumes on October 15, only then will we decide a release date.”

Does Makar Sankrati look like a dependable release date? “Even Christmas looks like a good option. It all depends on how comfortable audiences are with the idea of returning to theatres. Yash is in no hurry to release. There’s a fight sequence with Sanjay Dutt which may be shot with a body double.”

It was Farhan Akhtar who suggested belated action against the two news channels which had been hammering at the film industry relentlessly for four months.

An informed source says, “Though he won’t take credit for it, the lawsuit against Times Now and Republic TV was Farhan Akhtar’s idea. All the other producers felt as disgusted by the attack by the two news channels. But if Farhan hadn’t taken the initiative they wouldn’t have come forward to finally take the slanderous foursome to court.”

Now it’s up the film industry to take the fight to its logical conclusion.

Actress Swara Bhaskar who has been vocal in her opposition to the vilification campaign against Bollywood spoke exclusively after the lawsuit. “It’s a most welcome move. During the last few months, the way we’ve seen our film industry being vilified by two channels Times Now and Republic TV against whom the defamation case has been filed, is shameful and irresponsible, as much of their campaign was based on salacious rumours and hearsay. A lot of the accusations were inaccurate and defamatory as though a ploy to boost TRPs by hook or crook.”

Swara feels Bollywood has its blind spots, but to label the whole industry as evil is wrong. “There are plenty of hardworking actors and technicians. You can’t write them off as undesirable just to be newsy and sensational. Let me also point out that Bollywood is not just about actors but hundreds of technicians. Everyone’s livelihood was being affected by this smearing campaign. It is so heartening to see all the production houses, big and small, joining hands to fight for their reputation. Also four major unions have also come forward. As a female actor I’m so glad CINTAA (the Cine & TV Artists Association) which has always safeguarded women in Bollywood, is a plaintiff in the lawsuit.”

Swara is also happy about the demands of the lawsuit. “It’s not saying the two offending channels should be gagged. The lawsuit asks for the channels to be prevented from badmouthing our film industry. That’s only reasonable. It’s a reminder that the TV channels must do their job and not hold media trials. It’s a very welcome move.”
