Baahubali writer denies collaborating with Aamir Khan for Mahabharat June 16, 2020 at 07:32PM
K Vijayendra Prasad who has scripted his son S S Rajamouli’s Baahubali and also the Salman Khan blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan is, according to a widely-read report, all set to collaborate with Aamir Khan on a new version of the Mahabharat.
Or, so the report quotes Vijayendra Prasad as saying. He is quoted as saying, “The dialogue has started between me and Mr Aamir Khan regarding ‘Mahabharat’ we will begin work on the script. It is too pre-mature to talk anything in detail about the project,”
However, when I contacted the veteran writer, he denied any plans of a collaboration with Aamir Khan over the Mahabharat or any other project. “The reporter did speak to me. But I think there was some miscommunication because of a language problem. Also because I am not able to catch all of a conversation on the phone. The fact is, there is no such collaboration with Aamir.”
Could it be because Vijayendra’s son Rajamouli is planning his own version of the Mahabharat? “No such thing! We are not committed to work only with each other. The fact is, I am not doing anything on the Mahabharat.”

Vivek Oberoi says it is a wake-up call for film industry after attending Sushant Singh Rajput’s funeral June 16, 2020 at 07:00PM
Actor Vivek Oberoi, earlier this week, shared heartbreaking details after he attended the funeral of Sushant Singh Rajput on Monday, June 15. The last rites were performed in the presence of his family and a few of Sushant’s close friends. Vivek Oberoi said that the pain in his father’s eyes was unbearable and that this is a wake-up call for the industry.
Vivek Oberoi wrote, “Being at Sushant’s cremation today was so heartbreaking. I truly wish I could have shared my personal experience and helped him ease his pain. I’ve been through my own journey of pain, it can be very dark and lonely. But death is never the answer, suicide can never be a solution. I wish he stopped to think of his family, friends and the millions of fans who are feeling this tragic loss today...he would have realised how much people CARE! When I saw his father today, having to light the fire at the cremation, the pain in his eyes was unbearable, when I heard his sister weeping, begging him to come back, I can’t express how deeply tragic it felt.”
“I hope our industry that calls itself a family, does some serious introspection, we need to change for the better, we need to b***h less and care more, less power play and more grace and large heartedness, less ego trips and more acknowledgement for deserving talents, this family needs to truly become a family...a place where talent is nurtured and not crushed, a place where an artist feels appreciated and not manipulated. This is a wake up call for all of us,” he further wrote.
Vivek concluded by saying, “I will miss the ever smiling Sushant Singh Rajput, I pray god takes away all that pain you felt my brother and gives strength to your family to deal with their loss. I pray you are in a better place now, maybe we didn’t deserve you.”

Arbaaz Khan to take legal action against Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap June 16, 2020 at 06:17PM
Actor Arbaaz Khan will be taking legal action against Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap for claiming that Salman Khan, Arbaaz and Sohail Khan bullied him and that was the reason he stepped down from franchise.
Arbaaz spoke to a tabloid stating that he last spoke to Kashyap before Dabangg 2. He said that they had taken legal action earlier too when he had posted about stepping down from the franchise and differences with Khan brothers. Arbaaz revealed that they have had no communication with him since they began work on Dabangg 2. He has no idea where everything is coming from. But, they are planning to take legal action against him.
Sharing his own experience of bullying, Abhinav Kashyap wrote on Facebook earlier this week, “The reason I moved out of making Dabangg 2 ten years ago is because Arbaaz, in collusion with Sohail Khan and family, was trying to take control of my career by bullying me. Arbaaz sabotaged my second project with Shree Ashtavinayak Films that I was signed up with by personally calling their head Mr. Raj Mehta and threatening him with dire consequences if they made a film with me.."
