शाहरुख खान के साथ फिल्म 'फैन' में नजर आईं एक्ट्रेस शिखा मल्होत्रा मेजर स्ट्रोक और पैरालिसिस का शिकार हो गई थीं। पैरालिसिस के कारण उनकी राइट साइड की बॉडी काफी प्रभावित हुई। वे अपना हाथ और पैर भी नहीं उठा पा रही हैं। हाल ही में एक न्यूज वेबसाइट को दिए इंटरव्यू में शिखा ने खुद अपनी हेल्थ को लेकर अपडेट दिया। उन्होंने कहा, वे रिकवर कर रही हैं, लेकिन प्रोसेस बहुत स्लो है। उन्हें यह भी नहीं पता कि वे अब कब चल पाएंगी।
मैं अपनी जिंदगी के मुश्किल दौर से गुजर रही हूं
इंटरव्यू के दौरान शिखा ने अपनी स्थिति और रिकवरी को लेकर कहा, मैं अपनी जिंदगी के मुश्किल दौर से गुजर रही हूं और इस समय में सभी का सपोर्ट चाहती हूं। मैं अपने काम को लेकर भी बहुत पैशिनेट हूं और ऑडियंस से थोड़ा सपोर्ट चाहती हूं। मेरी तबियत में सुधार हो रहा है, लेकिन प्रोसेस बहुत स्लो है। मुझे यह भी नहीं पता कि मैं दोबारा कब चल पाउंगी।
ज्यादा लोगों को 'कांचली' के रिलीज के बारे में नहीं पता
शिखा ने आगे कहा, मैं अपने शरीर को लेकर लाचार हूं पर जब भी मैं अपनी फिल्म 'कांचली' के बारे में सोचती हूं तो मेरा दिल धड़क उठता है। हालांकि ज्यादा लोगों को इस फिल्म के रिलीज के बारे में नहीं पता है। शिखा को 10 दिसंबर रात मेजर स्ट्रोक आया था। उसी वक्त उन्हें तुरंत मुंबई के कोकिलाबेन अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया। इसके बाद उन्हें KEM अस्पताल में शिफ्ट कर दिया गया था। स्ट्रोक के बाद उनकी राइट साइड की बॉडी पैरालाइज हो गई थी। शिखा ने हाल ही में हॉस्पिटल से अपनी मां के साथ खुद एक फोटो भी शेयर की है।
शिखा ने राजस्थानी फिल्म 'कांचली' में लीड रोल प्ले किया था
बता दें कि शिखा ने शाहरुख खान की फिल्म 'फैन' में काम किया था। हाल ही में उन्होंने राजस्थानी फिल्म 'कांचली' में लीड रोल प्ले किया था। फिल्म में शिखा के साथ संजय मिश्रा, ललित परिमू, नरेशपाल सिंह चौहान की भी अहम भूमिका दिखाई दिए थे। फिल्म की स्टोरी राजस्थान के लोक कहानीकार विजयदान देथाम की कहानी पर आधारित है। जिसमें सोशल वेलफेयर का संदेश दिया गया है। फिल्म के डायरेक्टर और प्रोड्यूसर देदीप्य जोशी हैं। फरवरी में 'कांचली' को चुनिंदा सिनेमाघरों में रिलीज किया गया था।
शिखा ने वालंटियर नर्स के रूप में संक्रमित लोगों की देख-रेख की थी
शिखा ने फिल्मों में एंट्री लेने से पहले नई दिल्ली स्थित वर्धमान महावीर मेडिकल कॉलेज, सफदरगंज से नर्सिंग का कोर्स किया था। इसलिए जब देश में कोरोनावायरस का प्रकोप बढ़ा तो उन्होंने भी संक्रमित लोगों की देख-रेख करने का फैसला किया था। उन्होंने मुंबई के जोगेश्वरी ईस्ट स्थित हिंदू हृदय सम्राट बालासाहब ट्रॉमा हॉस्पिटल में वालंटियर नर्स के रूप में काम किया था। कुछ समय पहले शिखा खुद भी कोरोना पॉजिटिव होने के बाद ठीक भी हो गई थीं।
