Varun Dhawan to provide free meals to the unemployed after contributing to the PM-CARES Fund and CM Relief Fund April 07, 2020 at 07:32PM

The celebrities have been very generous with their donations and have tried their best to reach out and help the needy. Varun Dhawan has donated a sum of Rs. 55 lakh to the PM-Cares Fund and the CM Relief Fund to help eradicate the novel Coronavirus. The actor is known for his generousity and it is his gestures like these that make him a heartthrob for his fans.

After his generous donation, he has decided to provide free meals to those most affected because of this pandemic, the daily-wage earners and the unemployed. There are a lot of people that live hand to mouth and survive on a daily wage to figure out a square meal. With most businesses being shut due to the lockdown, it has become very difficult for people to figure out where to get their next meal from. Varun Dhawan posted on his Instagram that he will be providing free meals to the unemployed through the Taj Public Welfare Trust.

Actress Shefali Shah has revealed that her Facebook account got hacked on April 6 night and she was bombarded with a flurry of messages from people out of concern. The reason being the hacker posted false news that she and her family were diagnosed with COVID-19.

Taking to her Instagram, the Dil Dhadakne Do actress wrote, “My Facebook account was hacked last night and I woke up to a flurry of messages of concern of care of people reaching out and saying wonderful things to me and saying that if I need to talk I should call. Some people even shared their telephone numbers. These are people I've met, probably never met or met briefly, or occasionally sometime somewhere of them and all of them just showed care and concern."

"A lot of them in fact also said this doesn't sound like you, it's not a positive voice and it just doesn't sound like you and we are hoping your account (not good) but rather hacked than you ever saying something like this. Because you're valuable and precious. It was so heartwarming to see these messages from strangers from acquaintances from friends and it was lovely to know that people reach out to you when they sense you need them or just because they care. I don't think they did it just because I'm an actor they just did it because they care about a fellow human being. I want to say that I'm absolutely fine. And dealing with this entire situation as well as everyone else is dealing with it. dealing. I'm fine and I would never think of something so drastically negative. All of us at home are fine and safe we are not corona positive as was one of the things that was written in my post. (By god knows who),” she further wrote.

She concluded by saying, "Thank you all. Thank you so much for reaching out and being there, it means a lot to me."

Shefali Shah has been sharing coronavirus updates and urging people to stay safe and stay indoors amid this crisis.

On the work front, Shefali was last seen in the Netflix series Delhi Crime with Rasika Dugal, Adil Hussain and Rajesh Tailang.

Country folk singer and songwriter John Prine passed away on April 7 at the age of 73. The musician died due to complications from COVID-19 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

In the month of March, John Prine was admitted to the hospital due to coronavirus. "This is hard news for us to share,” his family wrote in a statement on March 26. “But so many of you have loved and supported John over the years, we wanted to let you know, and give you the chance to send on more of that love and support now. And know that we love you, and John loves you."

Fiona Whelan Prine, his wife of 23 years, was also diagnosed with the novel Coronavirus in March. She had also been updating the fans over John Prime's health. On April 2, in her latest Instagram post, she revealed that she could not be in the hospital with her husband in order to keep everyone safe. “As you know, John was put on a ventilator last Saturday,” she wrote. “He still needs quite a bit of help with his breathing. Like many patients currently in ICU beds all around the world, John has pneumonia in both lungs. He has also developed some peripheral issues that are being treated with meds, including antibiotics.”

She thanked everyone for the support. “It means the world to us to have your love and support at this difficult time,” she wrote. “John loves you and I love you too.❤️."

Milap Zaveri hoping Satyameva Jayate 2 will begin on schedule, has cracked the theme for third part April 07, 2020 at 05:44PM

In October 2019, it was announced that Satyameva Jayate 2 is happening with John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar in the lead roles. The movie, to be directed by Milap Zaveri and produced by T-Series and Emmay Entertainment & Motion Pictures, was supposed to go on floor in April end this year considering it's scheduled for Gandhi Jayanti release.

Due to the novel Coronavirus, many production houses have pushed their releases, due to nationwide lockdown, TV and film productions have been halted. So this raises the question about Satyameva Jayate 2's fate and whether the makers will consider moving the release date ahead. Director Milap Zaveri spoke to a daily stating that they were supposed to start the schedule in April. They are hoping that as soon as things get back to normal, they'll begin the shooting. He said that they are keeping their fingers crossed and hoping they stick to the Gandhi Jayanti release date.

The filmmaker said that the date is set for October 2 and so far, they have not pushed it ahead. He said that even if they start the shooting in May, they'll be on schedule.

Meanwhile, Milap Zaveri has already cracked the theme for the third part and it will be fighting the corruption.

Satyameva Jayate 2 produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar (T-Series), Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, Nikkhil Advani (Emmay Entertainment) is slated to release ‪on October 2, 2020.

एफडब्ल्यूआईसीई के महासचिव अशोक दुबे ने सदस्य कर्मचारियों के इस कदम कीसराहना की और पुष्टि करते हुए कहा-“सलमान खान ने 25,000 श्रमिकों का विवरण मांगा था। हमें 19,000 सदस्य कार्यकर्ताओं से विवरण प्राप्त हुआ। जिसमें से 3000 कामगार पहले ही यशराज फिल्म्स से 5000 रुपये प्राप्त कर चुके थे। इसलिए हमने बाकी बचे16,000 श्रमिकों का विवरण सलमान खान को भेज दिया है और उन्होंने पैसे ट्रांसफर करनाशुरू कर दिया है। जल्द ही सभी को पैसे मिलेंगे।”

दुबे ने कहा कि एफडब्ल्यूआईसीई को आज प्रोड्यूसर्सकी ओर से 1.5 करोड़ रुपये मिले हैं, साथ ही एसोसिएशन को और मदद मिल रही है। सलमान खान ने मनी ट्रांस करने के बाद, FWICE अन्य सदस्य श्रमिकों का मूल्यांकन करेगा और उन्हें धन वितरित करेगा। यह भी तय करेगा कि लॉकडाउन बढ़ने पर सदस्यों की मदद कैसे की जाए।
