Gal Gadot starrer Wonder Woman 1984 gets postponed until August amid Coronavirus pandemic March 24, 2020 at 06:07PM

Wonder Woman 1984, starring Gal Gadot and Chris Pine in the leading roles, has been postponed until August 2020 in the wake of Coronavirus pandemic that has spread around the world. On March 24, the studio announced that the sequel to the hit 2017 DC Comics movie will be postponed until August 14, 2002. The movie was originally scheduled to come out on June 5.

“When we greenlit Wonder Woman 1984, it was with every intention to be viewed on the big screen and we are excited to announce that Warner Bros. Pictures will be bringing the film to theaters on Aug. 14,” Toby Emmerich, Warner Bros.’ chair, said in the official a statement. “We hope the world will be in a safer and healthier place by then.”

Gal Gadot also took to social media to make an official announcement. "In these dark and scary times, I am looking forward to a brighter future ahead. Where we can share the power of cinema together again. Excited to redate our WW84 film to August 14, 2020. I hope everyone is safe. Sending my love to you all ❤️," she wrote.

बॉलीवुड डेस्क. कोरोना वायरस के चलते पूरा मुंबई शहर लॉकडाउन है। लेकिन इसी बीच एक्ट्रेस जया भट्टाचार्य शहर के फिल्म सिटी इलाके में सड़कों पर नजर आईं। वे उन बेजुबान जानवरों के लिए बाहर निकलीं जिन पर लॉकडाउन का बुरा असर पड़ रहा हैं। उन्होंने सड़कों पर निकलकर स्ट्रीट डॉग्स को खाना खिलाया। उन्होंने अन्य लोगों से भी जानवरों की मदद करने की अपील की।

दैनिक भास्कर से बातचीत में जया ने कहा, 'मैं दिन में दो बार डॉग फूड और पानी लेकर अपने घर से बाहर निकलती हूं ताकि रास्ते में जरूरतमंद कुत्तों की मदद कर पाऊं। मैंने जगह-जगह प्लेट्स और बॉटल्स लगाए हैं जहां लोग उन्हें रीफिल कर सकें। अब तक मैं करीबन 80 किलो डॉग फूड फिल्मसिटी इलाके में डिस्ट्रीब्यूट कर चुकी हूं। मैं ऐसा सालों से करती आ रही हूं इसलिए इस मुसीबत के समय पर भी मैं इन बेजुबान जानवरों के साथ हूं।'

कृति, अनुष्का और आलिया ने भी किया सपोर्ट

एक्ट्रेस अनुष्का शर्मा, आलिया भट्‌ट और कृति खरबंदा ने भी इस माहौल में जानवरों को लेकर चिंता जताई है। अनुष्का ने लोगों से अपील की है कि इस संकट के समय में वे पालतू जानवरों को बेघर न छोड़ें। इस वक्त उनका त्याग करना अमानवीयता है। वहीं कृति खरंबदा ने अपने डॉग के साथ एक तस्वीर शेयर कर लिखा, ‘इस वक्त हमें इसी पॉजीटिविटी की जरूरत है।’ आलिया ने भी लोगों से अपील की कि जानवरों का खयाल रखें।

Another #MeToo accused Ashiish Patil has resurfaced online. The former vice president of YRF Talent and creative and business head of Y-Films was ousted in 2018 after he was accused of sexual harassment. It seems like he has taken up production again and his project has found a platform too.

As per the latest reports, before the allegations were made public, a bunch of actors starred in an anthology series called Pyaar Actually. Some of the actors included Bhumi Pednekar, Saqib Saleem and Riteish Deshmukh among others. The project was created for Diamond Producer's Association which has now found its platform on Hotstar. The actors are allegedly unaware that the project is now on a digital platform and even the association wasn't kept in the loop.

Since the said OTT platform stands firm against sexual harassment, they have not credited Ashiish Patil on the slate.

Fukrey 3 is in works & makers ask the principal cast to block October 2020 dates March 24, 2020 at 05:33PM

The successful franchise of Fukrey had the first and the second parts hitting the bull's eye at the box office. In fact, Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment produced Fukrey Returns starred Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Ali Fazal, Manjot Singh and Richa Chadha in lead roles. The movie garnered over Rs 100 crore worldwide as well. Now, the makers are eyeing at the third installment and the scripting is already in works.

As per latest reports, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani are reportedly supervising the development of Fukrey 3. The producers have asked the principal cast to block their dates in October this year. The Mrighdeep Lamba led team jumped on the story and writers began to work on it further. Since the film productions have been halted, for now, they have asked the cast in advance to block their dates as they would require a combination of dates. The pre-production on film will commence once the situation stabilizes.

Back in December 2019, Ritesh Sidhwani had hinted that they planning the third installment in the Fukrey franchise.

सलमान ये सुनिश्चित करना चाहते हैं कि फिल्म राधे के पोस्ट प्रोडक्शन पर इफेक्ट ना पड़े इसीलिए उन्होंने अपने पनवेल स्थित फॉर्म हाउस से मूवी के पोस्ट प्रोडक्शन पर काम शुरू कर दिया है। सलमान ने अपने साथ छोटी सी प्रोडक्शन टीम रखी है। इसके अलावा फिल्म के डायरेक्टर प्रभुदेवा भी चेन्नई से सलमान के साथ पूरी तरह से संपर्क में हैं और दोनों मिलकर इसकी एडिटिंग देख रहे हैं। फिल्म की आधी शूटिंग तो पूरी हो चुकी है लेकिन दिशा पाटनी और सलमान पर फिल्माए जाने वाले गाने की शूटिंग अभी बाकी है।
