Popular filmmaker Imtiaz Ali has approached Kartik Aaryan and Ayusmann Khurrana for his upcoming film which is the story of Punjabi folk singer, late Amar Singh Chamkila. Popularly known as the Elvis of Punjab, Amar Singh Chamkila was recognised for his songs that addressed extra-marital relationships, drug abuse and the patriarchal mindset of Punjabi men.
